Overview

Before actually starting a Web site, there are several steps, which can be taken to ensure the success of your project. The purpose of this document is to provide biz2web team with a basic outline for determining your website design, development and online marketing objectives. This questionnaire will help you articulate, identify, and agree upon the overall goals of your project, including specific questions regarding message, audience, content, look and feel, and functionality. Of certain items are not applicable, please leave them out however; please be as complete as possible. Our goal is to fully understand your project requirements and provide the optimum solution to make your project a success.

The best websites are created with a keen understanding of visitors’ interests, needs and expectations. Text, visual design, organization and navigation should all work together to allow visitors to find key information and complete critical tasks quickly and easily.

Particulars of your Website

Who are the primary and secondary audiences? What types of people do you want to attract? (Describe interests, needs, skills, age range, income, geographic location, and lifestyles. What motivates this audience?)

What’s the key message you want the site to communicate? What’s the second most important message? Please explain why this message is important.

What information will change? (How often will it change? How extensively?).

Use a few adjectives to describe how the user should perceive the new site. (Examples include prestigious, friendly, corporate, fun, forward thinking, innovative, and cutting edge.)

How is your company currently perceived offline? Do you want to carry the same kind of message through your website?

List your competitor’s websites. What do you like about them? Describe how your company is different than the competitor:

The Structure of Your Website

The key to your website's success is how easily your visitors can navigate through it. By understanding the site structure we can then optimise your company’s online potential. Main Page, Showcase and Category Headings

As part of standard web design package, we will add up to 7 content pages to your site. We can add additional pages and their content for you ($49.95 per page) or you can add them yourself once the site is built.

In the right hand column, please list the pages that you would like us to create on your site. Once the site is created, you will be able to change the pages, as you need to.

Use the Example list (on the left hand side) as a reference.

The homepage page needs to introduce your product or service in a way that leaves no hesitation. It should entice visitors to explore your website further.

What is this? What does it offer? The first question people ask themselves when they come to a new website is a simple one: 'What is this?' They want to understand clearly, what the website offers or what the brand presents is all about.

Who is it for? The next thing people want to be assured of is whether your product or service is truly for them. In other words, they ask themselves: 'Who is this website for?'

How does it work? Once you've convinced your visitor that your brand is for them, the next thing they'll want to understand is how your service works?

How to get started? What should I do next? Now that you have convinced your visitors to choose you, they are ready to get started. Just don't forget to clearly show them what they should do next.

ADDITIONAL REVISIONS OR DESIGN WORK OUTSIDE THE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT WILL BE CHARGED SEPARATELY.
