 Homepage: Welcome to the DeltaMOOCx homepage; the rotating banner  allows you to navigate latest online courses and watch introduction videos.

 A webpage on associated universities: DeltaMOOCx has a webpage on  various universities which allows you to easily find all courses provided by  specific universities.

 Registration: To subscribe to courses with DeltaMOOCx, students must first  have a DeltaMOOCx account; you can choose to register with your Facebook  account to save the trouble of E‐mail verification, or register with the  standard process.

DeltaMOOCx provides the concept of different groups, allowing each 

university to have their own private groups. If a group is set as a 

private group, you must be verified by the group administrator before 

you can enter and view the course.

administrator, all you have to do is click Confirm to pass the 

verification process.

Virtual collaboration chat rooms are for DeltaMOOCx students where 

they can easily discuss the course through 

audio, electronic 

whiteboards, document sharing and real‐time messages

etc. with 

their classmates.

Every student has their own independent discussion room which they 

can lock or announce on subscribed courses.

The 

contents (document sharing, electronic whiteboard and real‐time 

discussions) of 

each student’s

independent discussion room will be 

automatically cleared after 30 minutes should there be no students in 

the room.

Students can also clear the room immediately should they 

wish to.

No software installation is required for using virtual discussion rooms; 

it can be used in common browsers (

IE8.0 or above, Chrome, Firefox

and Safari

).

Each account only has one

virtual discussion room

, which can only be 

announced in one course at a time; the previous announcement will 

be overwritten if 

announced repeatedly

!
