Administrator/Receptionist
This post will assist the support team in dealing with all communications coming into and out of the office. The majority of which will be either a disabled person, one of their family members, a social work professional, a healthcare worker or a personal assistant (carer) of a disabled person. Full training will be given in the role, but the ability to use communicate

Recruitment Advisor
With this role you will help disabled people find personal assistants (carers) to work for them so that they can live independent lives in their own home and community. You will be dealing with disabled/elderly people, jobcentres, other recruitment companies and job applicants.
Full training will be given in the role, but the ability to use communicate

Outreach Worker
This role involves visiting service users in their own homes ensuring that they are meeting their care needs. This includes but is not limited to:
Initial setup: this involves visiting a service user for the very first time and explaining what services we provide, often getting paperwork signed to confirm what services the individual would like from us
M.O.T Visits: this involves visiting the service user once a year to ensure that all services are being provided to our high standards and ensuring that service users have all copies of forms required to be an employer and are stored in a correct manner.
Requested Visits: Service users will often request a home visit to be completed regarding certain issues. This will change from each
Payroll Officer
This position involves providing support and receiving queries to any payroll matters regarding payments made and payments due from service users. You will also be checking previous and current payroll issues with service users and liaising with HMRC to ensure all tax and national insurance payments are complete this also includes ensuring tax codes are correct.
You will receive e-mails and paper copies of all expenses and hours worked for service users which must be put into our current payroll system.
This will include setting up employers with HMRC and on our own system and correcting over and underpayments.
Data Entry Clerk
This position involves general day to day administration tasks. This will involve correctly storing forms completed by Personal Assistants, filing invoices from agencies and applications from Personal Assistants.
You may also be expected to take phone calls from service users and update our current system and inform the appropriate individual of information you have received.
Book Keeper
This role involves checking all finances on individuals and liaising with the accounts team to ensure that payments due to DiPSU and other bodies related to the Service User is made e.g. Invoices to agencies.
Ensuring that all documents relating to any accounts issues are updated and stored correctly in the appropriate place.
Filing clerk
This position will involve putting all paper documents into correct folders which will include current Service Users and potential Service Users. You may also be asked to file invoices from agencies and other forms of support providers.
Reporter for news letter
This position will involve taking testimonials over the phone or from face to face contact with Service Users, Social Workers and stakeholders which will them be put into our the My Life My Way an independent disabled persons newsletter.
You must be confident and capable of using publisher or a programme of your choice that can meet the standards of our operations manager keeping in mind that the products you produce will be sent to a wide range of individuals
Graphic Designer for Newsletter
This individual will be in charge of providing material for our newsletter involving a range of software which may be used at the volunteer’s choice providing the software is already owned by the company or by the volunteer. Use of your own computer will be essential if you would like to use your own choice of software to complete task’s e.g. Photoshop
This may include creating new logos or editing photos which will be used within a publisher programme for our flyers and newsletters.
HR Assistant
This individual will be involved with supporting the staff of the charity with all HR related tasks. This will include lightening the workload of senior staff to ensure that priority jobs are kept priority and other jobs which are easily completed are done.
Personal Assistant / Carer
This position will involve supporting an individual to complete day to day task’s which will change on each individual. This may include Personal, Domestic and social care. You may be asked to escort an individual on any trip outside the house, prompt for medication, assist with baiting and nutrition needs.
This can vary from assistance with toiletry needs and baiting to taking an individual shopping or a social activity such as swimming or bowling
Cleaner
This post would require an individual to come into the office to empty all
waste disposal units, ensure all desks are polished, clean and tidy, vacuumed and look professional for any individual visiting our office.
You would also be expected to do light dish washing duties and hovering the office’s which must remain at all times professional and hazard free.
