Meets

Students in the MSA Program may register for their internship modules in the summer; however, they do not

meet during the summer. Classes will meet in the spring and fall.

All of the Internship Modules are 1 credit hour each.

modules in the summer. Students will attend

seminars in the fall and spring semesters.

TUITION/ General Fees

At all locations 500 and 600 level Education Courses tuition is $525.00 per credit hour.
General Fees are $150.00 per course (3 credit hours).
Students taking Practicum and Internships will be charged a fee of $35.00 per credit hour in addition to the regular tuition.

MSA Internship Module Note:

Grades/credit will be awarded as follows:

All internship modules carry 1 credit hour each

Grades for three modules will be assigned upon completion of the year-long internship, final evaluation

conference with the Site Supervisor and when site-supervisor and intern’s evaluation forms are

completed and turned in to the Coordinator.

Grades for three additional modules will be awarded upon attendance at all eight seminars and

presentation at one.

Grades for the final internship module will be awarded when all Electronic Evidences are deemed

complete and are assessed at the Proficient Level or above.

All module work must be completed and assessed no later than one year from the end of the last term

enrolled in a module. If not completed within the year, candidates will be required to register for an

additional course at regular tuition cost.

REGISTRATION

PROCEDURES

All new and returning students must contact their advisor to register for classes. Visiting students must contact Ranae Strickland to register for classes. Registration will begin on Thursday, April 1, 2021 and end on Friday, April 30, 2021. Students must always contact their advisor to register for classes. Graduate students CANNOT register online.

University. A student must hold a baccalaureate degree to be eligible for credit in a graduate course.

These courses may be used for renewal of teacher licenses. All questions concerning license renewal should be directed to the student’s school unit.

Withdrawal from a Course

Students must officially drop a class to avoid receiving a grade of “F” for the class and being charged for the class. Students who officially drop a class by the fifth day from start of term date (this includes weekends and holidays) will receive a full refund. MSA & M.Ed. Comprehensive Exams

MSA and M.Ed. students must take and pass comprehensive exams. The comprehensive exams are administered two times yearly, typically, the first Saturday in November and the first Saturday in March.
There is a third comps administered in June for MSA students only. APPLICATIONS to take the comprehensive exams in November are due by October 15th. Applications to take the comprehensive exams in March are due by February 15th.
Retakes for students that did not pass the March administration will be the first Saturday in April. Retakes for students that did not pass the November administration will be on first Saturday in December. Applications must be turned into your advisor by the deadline. Counselor Education Comprehensive Exams

Candidates completing a degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling must

pass the Counselor Preparation Comprehensive Examination (CPCE) during the semester before their

graduation semester. Candidates should consult with their academic advisor early in their program regarding

application and other process issues specific to the comprehensive examination. Importantly, candidates taking

comprehensive examinations must be prepared to respond to questions based on all courses in their specific

programs.

Attendance Policy

No more than one absence is allowed for each course taken during the fall, spring, and summer

semesters. Exceeding these limits may affect your grade.

Graduation You must apply to graduate. Please click on link https://www.campbell.edu/registrar/graduation/#apply-for-grad or visit the registrar page to find link. Deadline for August graduation will be posted when it is set by registrar’s office. You will be able to participate in the December graduation since we do not have a ceremony in August. Your gown and hood must be purchased at the bookstore.
