ENGINEERING COURSES

Electrical Wiring, Testing and Maintenance

AIM: This course aims to provide basic working knowledge and some practical experience in electrical installation in

single and three phase.

TARGET GROUP: Candidates who wish to gain electrical skills.

Hydraulics & Pneumatics

AIM: This course is designed to equip the

Mechanical / Electrical fitter or maintenance person with a basic working knowledge and practical experience of combined Hydraulics and Pneumatics. TARGET GROUP: This course is designed for candidates with no previous experience.

Programmable Logic Controllers

AIM: This course is for engineers who have little or no PLC experience and can be used as an introduction to PLC

systems – wiring, testing, programming and fault finding. The course is aimed at engineers who are required to

wire, maintain, fault find and make programme changes to existing PLC systems.

Programming theory is kept to a minimum, and the course is hands on with great emphasis on the practical aspects of programmable logic controllers. This course is based on the Allen Bradley micrologix 1000 controller and RS Logix 500 programming software. TARGET GROUP: This course is designed for candidates with no previous experience.

Welding including MIG/MG, TIG/TAG, MMA

AIM: MIG / MAG - This course aims to provide basic working knowledge and practical experience of welding of ferrous metals.

TARGET GROUP: This course is designed for delegates with no prior knowledge or experience. AIM: TIG / TAG – This course aims to provide basic working knowledge and practical experience in TAG welding for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. TARGET GROUP: This course is designed for delegates with no prior knowledge or experience.

AIM: MMA – This course aims to provide basic working knowledge and practical experience in Manual Metal Arc Welding.

AIM: Develop skills and knowledge to produce a variety of welded joints using the welding process of your choice as well as learn the fundamental technical knowledge.
