This course will help to imbibe a data driven culture of decision making within

HR. Specifically, it will help HR Professionals with:

the IT teams for the right data needed for taking HR decisions and be able to

merge multiple data sources as needed. They will be able to create visually

striking, usable and insightful dashboards that visualize HR data for

descriptive and diagnostic analytics. They will also be introduced to

understand predictive model outcomes.

Content

While the course outline details out most of the areas that will be traversed, a

set of core analytics KPIs in HR will be covered and will include (but not

limited to):

The training/ workshop will provide real life examples and cases from

relevant HR issues from leading organizations and academics to provide a

complete analytical decision-making environment. Content will include a

deep dive into KPIs useful for HR (and their underlying reasons), training in

tools for HR analytics like advanced Excel, a detailed understanding of

descriptive and diagnostic analytics through visual analytics, cases to

evangelize the power of predictive analytics in HR, and definition and

implementation of HR analytics strategy.

Dr. Upinder Dhar is Vice Chancellor of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya (Indore). He has conducted more than 650 management and faculty development programs for the executives of major business houses and faculty members of academic institutions respectively. He has also been Guest Faculty at IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, IIM Trichy and IIT Roorkee. Besides undertaking consultancy assignments, he has authored/co-authored/edited more than 700 publications. Thirty-Six (36) scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree under his supervision by various universities. He has also been Member of the council of Management of AIMA, Member of ATMA, All India Board of Management Studies of AICTE, Rajasthan State Productivity Council, Governing Board of DELNET and Member of the Executive Board of AMDISA. He has been on the high powered Expert Committees constituted by MHRD, UGC, AICTE . Currently, he is a Member of the Standing Committee on Specification of Degrees u/s 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. He has also been resource person in the Leadership for Academicians Program (LEAP) sponsored by MHRD and organized by IIT Roorkee.

Dr. Santosh Dhar is Dean - Faculty of Doctoral Studies and Research at Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. She has been engaged in teaching, research, corporate training and consultancy for the last forty years. She has widely published her work and has more than 332 publications to her credit. Dr. Dhar had coordinated the implementation of a project on the Empowerment of Women through Enterprise in North India (2000-2002), which was funded by Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). She has twice been chairperson of Indian Society for Training and Development Jaipur and Indore Chapter & Chairperson of the Best Paper Award of the Indian Society for Training and Development, New Delhi. Dr. Dhar was conferred National Fellowship for her contributions to HR by the Indian Society for Training and Development in 2006-07.)

Dr. Santosh Rangnekar is working as Professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is having 32 years experience in reputed industries and academics like Raymond Ltd. Bombay (J.K. Engineers Files,Pithampur), Shriram Group of Industries (SIEL, Delhi), The Hukamchand Mills Limited Indore, Prestige Institute of Management and Research, Indore, IIITM, Gwalior (Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management, Gwalior) and Department of Management Studies IIT Roorkee.

Dr. Anubha Walia, the founder of PRISM™ Philosophy, is a Human Process Interventionist, Author, Trainer & OD Consultant. She carries 20+ years of experience worked with Honeywell, ICICI Bank, Moody ICL Certification were she was heading L&D & Quality vertical. After her graduation from LSR College, Post-graduation from Narsee Monjee, and PhD from IGNOU, she became the first lady in India who actively engaged in research work on Followership, published 18 research paper and authored course book 'Fundamentals of Research'. She is a recipient of the Emerging HRD thinker award (Gold Medalist) for 5 consecutive years by ISTD. Her association with 35+ blue-chip organisation, she has trained 50000+ professionals in Behavioural, Quality & Wellness training and consulted in TQM, Change Engagement & Learning at National & International level. Dr A C Joshi is presently Director-ISTD and former Director (HR) of (UJVN Limited-A Govt. of Uttarakhand Enterprise), Dehradun, GM(Personnel) THDCIL (A Miniratna, PSU), Rishikesh. In the past Secretary and Chairman, ISTD Dehradun Chapter. He is having more than 35 years’ experience in HR & Training. He has done his doctorate from IIT Roorkee and is a regular visiting faculty to IIT Rorkee, IIM Kashipur and IIM Sirmour, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Graphic Era University and many more. He is in the Advisory Board of Doon University and Glocal University. He has conducted many MDPs for ISTD and THDC India Limited. His main areas of interest and specialization are Organizational Behaviour, HRM, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Development and Work place Spirituality etc. He is a photographer of International repute and has conducted many workshops in Industrial photography including Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussorrie.

The Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) is a premier National Institution devoted to the cause of Human Resource development through trainers, with International affiliation. It has a large membership of organizations and professionals involved in the training and development of human resource from Government, Public and Private sector organizations, institutions and other bodies. It has 48 chapters spread throughout the country with the National Headquarters in New Delhi. ISTD has been designated as the National Nodal Agency for & Testing and Certification of skills for all sectors and for all states of skilled workers in the organized and unorganized sectors, adding new feathers to its cap by Ministry of Labour & Employment India.

ABOUT THE SOCIETY

In line with its core objective, ISTD support organizations and individuals to grow and succeed by honing skills, knowledge and attitude through public/ in house training programmes. ISTD caters to the ever growing demand of identifying the training needs, designing and delivering customized training programmes and do objective evaluation of training effectives for both private and public sector undertakings. A responsive and conveniently scheduled training calender is floated as the commencement of each year based on the inputs from industry experts. L & D professionals and Business Leaders to enable organizations/individuals to get registered for the training programmes from the variety of programmes offered. In addition, customized training programmes are also organized to cater to the specific organizational / individual needs.

All the training programmes are designed and delivered by seasoned L & D professionals.

ISTD Diploma in Training and Development, conducts a Distance Learning Program of 18 months duration for the purpose of recruitment to superior posts under the Central Government and PSUs, ISTD Diploma (T&D), is also recognized by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Govt. of India, under its Faculty Development Scheme and by many of the corporate for appointments in their organizations.
