Customer Service
Objective: Assist in improving customer service at the OPA by providing the business with a single system to record all customer interactions (e.g. responses to questions, comments, and complaints)
Background: Receipt of, and response to, customer feedback is currently dispersed among a variety of channels and systems at the OPA - the call centre, LDC ticketing system, ER ticketing system, phone calls, letters, etc. Business users generally only have access to one system and therefore do not have visibility into interactions that a customer has had with other areas of the OPA
Target State: The Customer Service project will ensure that all customer
interaction records are stored in one system (CRM). This system will provide a 360 view of the customer so that business users can see a comprehensive history of interactions that customer has already had with the OPA. Through this project business processes for routing and responding to customer feedback will also be standardized and streamlined
Business users from divisions all across the OPA have access to the CRM solution.

Objective: Enhance Communication's ability to send out marketing materials and analyze the impact that different strategies have on customers. Marketing Solution also helped align OPA with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) by ensuring emails are only sent to customers who have given consent.
Background: Communication used phpList to send eBlasts before which lacked the ability to track the emails. The not so user friendly interface mostly made communication team to depend on IT to send out mass emails
