EDITORIAL (Vol. 6, No. 1, January 2009)

INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & APPLICATIONS

This special issue of the International Journal of Computer Science &

Applications, dedicated to

Grid and Parallel Computing

, presents 9 papers

that obtained the highest marks in the thorough reviewing process. Papers

accepted for the publication address challenging issues of Security, Access

Control, Scheduling, and Efficient File Transfer in Grids Computing. Papers

in Parallel Computing proposed classical PRAM algorithms and efficient

algorithms for many-cores.

At this point of time I would like to register my sincere thanks to all the

reviewers for reviewing papers very critically and send reports in time.

Without their full support it would have been an uphill task.
