Magical March Invitational

will be held at either Boo Williams Sportsplex in
Hampton, VA or World Class Gymnastics in Newport News, VA. Our hope is that there will be
enough entries to be able to fund the Boo Williams Sportsplex. If there are not, we will host the
in-person meet at our facility in Newport News. The venue decision will be announced by
February 12, 2021.

If your team was entered in the 2020 Magical March Invitational that was cancelled
at the last minute, Team entry fee of $50 per level is waived.
Entries are due no later than February 12, 2021 or when meet fills. No refunds after February

below for more information. We will try to accommodate
level changes through March 1 if at all possible. Team scores will be the top 3 scores.
Also to keep the sessions small, we may add Friday sessions, if necessary.
Refund Policy:
Normal scratch deadline: February 12, 2021. After February 12, 2021, we will not be able to honor requests for refunds for injury or withdrawal other than listed below.
Cancellation of event because of a Governing Body decision: If the Governor of Virginia or
USAGymnastics requires that we cancel the event because of COVID-19, we will refund the entry fee after subtracting expenses that cannot be recovered.
Changing to a virtual event: Our goal is to have a COVID-aware in-person meet so we wouldn’t change to a virtual meet unless we were required to do so or if it was the only way we felt under the existing conditions we would be able to host a meet safely. If conditions warrant that we change to a virtual event
after the normal scratch deadline, we would not issue a refund. However, please remember that our goal is to have a COVID-aware in person meet.
COVID-19 Policies –
we will follow all CDC, Virginia, and USAGymnastics guidelines.
All people entering the venue will need to pass a temperature check, use hand sanitizer upon entry, be symptom free of COVID-19, and not have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 for the prior 14 days.All people will be required to wear a mask while in the facility with the exception of the athletes while they are warming up or competing.
Athletes are required to bring their own chalk, spray bottle and hand sanitizer. Athletes will be required to use hand sanitizer on hands and feet before getting on any equipment and before moving to the next event. Coaches will be required to hand sanitize as well. Social distancing will be a requirement.
Spectators: Our goal would be to have 1 spectator per athlete at either Boo Williams Sportsplex or at World Class Gymnastics. Once we know for sure the total number of entries, we can update the venue and the specifics of being able to spectate.
USAGymnastics recommends smaller sessions, reducing the number of additional people on the floor, limiting spectators, closely following government guidelines – all as a way to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID-19. We will be following those guidelines.
These guidelines may be updated and will be included on the Session Schedule.
If the event is held at Boo Williams Sportslex:
we will announce the number of spectators

Children 3 and under:

Children 4-17 and Senior Citizens: $ 6
Over 17: $ 10
If the event is held at World Class Gymnastics:
we will announce if we can allow one
spectator per athlete and we will also try to have an outdoor viewing screen. Admission would
be Free if held at World Class Gymnastics

Registration Process:
1.
Please register your team on www.USAGym.org Meet Reservation system.
2.
You will receive a confirmation of entry from the automatic USAGym Meet
reservation system and then a few days later a confirmation from the Meet
Director.
3.
Please send in a $100 non-refundable deposit payable to World Class
