Day 1: Arrival & guided city tour
After checking in at your hotel, a guide will take you on a tour through the city. Aarhus Cathedral, the “hyggelige” Latin Quarter, the old houses in møllestien, the Åboulevard and Aarhus harbour are only a small part of the program this afternoon.
Day 2: Danish History
In the morning you will meet your ancestors in the beautifully located
moes-gård Museum (MoMu). Among archeological finds and artefacts from around the world, you will find one of the best-known and best preserved bog bodies
in the world, the grauballe man. In the afternoon, you will drive back to the city for a visit of the open-air museum The Old Town. The historical houses and interiors of Den gamle by give a great insight into how the Danes have lived through various periods of time.
Day 3: Modern day Denmark
The theme of today will be modern culture; Danish design, art and architec-ture. In the morning, you will visit ARos with its colourful Rainbow Panorama. After a guided tour through the museum you will drive to the Royal marselis-borg Castle and mindeparken, where in the afternoon you will visit sculpture by the sea. Alongside the seaside and forest, works of new and established artists are exhibited, playfully interacting with their surroundings.
Day 4: Time off and departure
After breakfast, you will have some time off. maybe you would like to go shop-ping in the Latin Quarter? Or enjoy a good cup of coffee on a terrace at the Åboulevard!
A great city surrounded by great nature. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Aarhus. During your visit, you will stay at a hotel in the city centre from which guided excursions will take you to Denmark’s most picturesque sites. Highlights on this tour are the hilly peninsula of Djursland, the lakes at Silkeborg and island hopping to the sustainable Isle of Samsø. Day 1: Arrival & guided city tour

Day 2: Silkeborg & Ry
After a nice breakfast, you will drive to the city of silkeborg. Together with a guide, you will visit the city centre, silkeborg museum and the Jorn museum, where the works of the Danish expressionist Asger Jorn are on display. In the afternoon the historical hjeljen-boat will take you to the foot of the highest point in Denmark: himmelbjerget. From this 147-meter high hill, you will enjoy fantastic views of the lakes and forests around silkeborg.
Day 3: Djurland and Mols
In the morning, you will drive to the peninsula of Djursland and visit the ruin of kalø Castle, dating from the middle Ages. The ruin is located in National Park mols bjerge. Together with a guide, you will go for a hike in a varied landscape, on which the last Ice Age has left a lasting footprint. In the afternoon you will visit the historical town of Ebeltoft, with its romantic streets and alleys. here you will also stop at the Fregatten Jylland – one of the largest wooden frigates in the world.
Day 4: Samsø
Today you will go island hopping and visit samsø. On this island, environmental awareness and sustainability are key words. A guide will show you the cultural and natural highlights of the island, and you will learn how samsø managed to convert the island’s energy consumption from oil and coal to renewable energy in less than ten years.
Day 5: Aarhus & departure
After breakfast, you will have some time off. maybe you would like to go shop-ping in the Latin Quarter? Or enjoy a good cup of coffee on a terrace at the Åboulevard!

Day 1: Arrival Copenhagen & guided city tour

Day 2: Copenhagen - Odense
In the morning, you will leave the capital and drive to the island of Funen. On your way to Odense, you will visit Egeskov Castle - one of the best-preserved water castles in Europe, dating back to the 15th century. After a guided tour
through the castle and its impressive garden, you will continue your journey. Enjoy the charming Danish countryside of Funen, and make a short stop at the harbour of svendborg for a taste of Danish local foods. you will stay at a hotel in Odense.
Day 3: Odense - Kolding
After a nice breakfast, a guide will take you on a tour through the city of hans Christian Andersen. you will learn about his life and fairytales at the museum. In the afternoon, you will leave Odense and drive to kolding. Enjoy the scenic route alongside the south coast of Funen and the view from the beautiful Lillebælts-bridge. your hotel for the night will be in kolding.
Day 4: Kolding - Aarhus
make sure to wake up early, as you have a full programme ahead of you. In the morning, you will visit the carved runestones at Jelling, which have been of
great importance for Danish history – marking the conversion to Christianity. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Aarhus; the European Capital of Culture (2017). After checking in at your hotel, a guide will take to on a tour through the city. you will visit Aarhus Cathedral, the “hyggelige” Latin Quarter, the old houses in møllestien, the Åboulevard and Aarhus harbour.
Day 5: Discover Aarhus2017

herit-age site. you will also visit the Viking ship museum, where you will learn more about boatbuilding in pre-historic and Viking times. In the afternoon, the bus will take you to Copenhagen. After checking in at your hotel, you will have time off for shopping or enjoying the city on your own. Visit the Royal Copenhagen shop, or Tivoli gardens.

Prepare yourself for some fresh sea air during this 7-day roundtrip through Denmark and Sweden. During this tour, you will discover the beautiful coasts of two countries; hop from island to island, enjoy the dunes and beaches at the Danish west coast, stand in two seas at the same time at Grenen and visit the beautiful west coast of Sweden. Day 1: Arrival Copenhagen & guided city tour

Day 2: Ferry to Aarhus
In the morning, you will take the ferry from Odden to Aarhus; the European Cultural Capital of 2017. In the late afternoon, you can choose to visit sculpture by the sea. Alongside the seaside and forest, works of new and established artist are exhibited, interacting with their surroundings.
Day 3: Aarhus - Thisted
Today, you will drive across Jutland to the west coast of Denmark. Enjoy the panoramic views alongside the water of Nissum Fjord while you drive in north-ern direction to Thorsminde. Take a moment to enjoy the fresh sea air, and have an ice-cream with traditional Danish guf. your destination for the day will be the town of Thisted in the beautiful surroundings of the Limfjord.
Day 4: Thisted - Frederikshavn
After a nice breakfast and checking out, you will continue your journey to the northernmost part of Denmark. you will drive alongside the west coast, via Jammerbugten all the way up to skagen – the most northern town in the
country. On your way, you will visit the wide beaches, sandy dunes and charm-ing small towns the area is known for. In skagen, a guide will take you to visit Old skagen, the city centre and skagen museum, with its beautiful collection of impressionist works. The coastal town of skagen is well known as a nineteenth century artist colony, the skagen Painters. After visiting the town, you will drive to the northernmost point of Denmark: grenen, where the waters of the skager rak and kattegat meet. you will stay at a hotel in Frederikshavn.
Day 5: Frederikshavn - Gothenburg
In Frederikshavn, you will board the ferry to sweden. After arriving in gothen-burg, a guide will take you on a tour through sweden’s second largest city. you will visit the marked place of Feskekyrka, kungsportsavenyen and götaplatsen with its massive Poseidon Fountain dating from 1931. you will stay at a hotel in gothenburg.
Day 6: Gothenburg – Copenhagen
After a good night sleep, you will leave gothenburg and drive south alongside the beautiful swedish west coast, all the way down to helsingborg. here you will take the ferry to Denmark. In helsingør, you will visit kronborg Castle, which is listed as a UNEsCO world heritage site and is one of the most im-portant Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. many know kronborg as “Elsinore”, the setting of shakespeare’s tragedy hamlet. your journey will con-tinue to Copenhagen, where you will stay the night.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast and checking out, you will have time off to enjoy Copenhagen on your own. we recommend exploring the city from the waterside during a canal boat tour. After your sightseeing visit, the bus will take you to the airport

After this visit, your journey continues to the island of Funen, where you will visit the charming old portal town of Fåborg. you will stay the night at a hotel in the southern part of Funen.
Day 3: Funen – Ribe – Vejle
In the morning, you will take the ferry to sønderjylland. Enjoy the picturesque landscape on your way to the oldest town In Denmark: Ribe. In Ribe, a guide will take you on a tour through the historical centre, dating back to the 8th
cen-tury. you will visit Ribe Cathedral, the town hall and Ribe Viking Centre. After your visit, the bus will take you to Vejle, where you will stay the night.
Day 4: Vejle - Aarhus

Or maybe choose to visit the charming Old Town.
Day 6: Aarhus - Copenhagen
After checking out of your hotel, the ferry will take you to Odden, from where you will drive to the Danish capital. In the afternoon a guide will take you to visit the National museum, with its exhibition on pre-historic and Viking cul-ture. In the late afternoon you will have some time off in Copenhagen. maybe you would like to go shopping, or explore the city on your own; visit the Royal Copenhagen shop, Amalienborg or Tivoli gardens.

In the afternoon, you will visit the open-air museum hjerl hede in Vinderup. here you will learn more about life and work in rural Denmark through the ages. Day 5: West coast and Herning
Prepare yourself for a refreshing start of the day at the west coast of Denmark. Today, you will have all day to visit one of Europe’s best-known theme parks.
The original Legoland park is located next to the original Lego factory. The

Day 3: Billund – Silkeborg - Aarhus
After a busy day at the park, today’s program will be at a slower pace. you will leave billund and drive to silkeborg - a city surrounded by lakes. we recommend you to take the historical hjejlen-boat to the foot of the highest point in Denmark - himmelbjerget. From this 147-meter high hill, you will enjoy fantastic views over the landscape around silkeborg. In the afternoon, drive to Aarhus. you might want to visit the ARos museum, with its Rainbow Panorama. stay at a hotel in the centre of Aarhus.
Day 4: Aarhus - Copenhagen
In the morning, you will visit moesgaard museum (momu). Let your children explore the world of pre-historic culture and Viking history in this beautifully located museum just south of the city. you can also choose to visit the open-air museum The Old Town. The historical houses and interiors of Den gamle by give a great insight into how the Danes have lived throughout various periods
of time. In the afternoon you will leave the mainland and take the ferry to sjælland. your hotel for the night will be in the area of Copenhagen.
Day 5: Copenhagen
wake up early as you have an exciting day ahead of you. go sightseeing in the capital; meet the real Ariel; hans Christian Andersen’s Little mermaid, visit the Royal Palace, or enjoy Copenhagen from the waterside during a canal boat tour. you could also take your children to Tivoli gardens - one of the oldest amusement parks in Europe. Or maybe you prefer a visit of the National Aquarium Denmark, Den blå Planet. here you can enjoy a day of life under water.
Day 6: Copenhagen - Roskilde
Today, you can choose several activities outside Copenhagen. Drive to Roskilde and visit the Viking ship museum, or drive north and explore the castles of Denmark. In helsingør you can visit kronborg slot, which is listed as a UNEsCO world heritage site and is one of the most important Renaissance castles in Northern Europe. many know kronborg as “Elsinore”, the setting of shake-speare’s tragedy hamlet.
Day 7: Copenhagen – Odense
After breakfast, you will drive to the island of Funen for a visit of the beautiful Egeskov slot. This castle in the southern part of Funen will provide you with activities for a full of fun. Race around the forest in soapbox cars, wander around in the mazes, go tree top walking through the old birch forest or become a knight and overcome obstacles in the 1000 square metre knight-themed segway park (+10 years). In the late afternoon, you will drive back to Copenhagen, where you will stay one last night before dropping of your rental
car and checking in at the airport for your flight home. Alternatively, you can choose to stay at a hotel in Odense and fly back from Billund.
