In 2010 when we launched the Cord Wrap design, it was
our second product, following the original and iconic
Driinn Phone Holder.
The word Bobino is catchy because it sounds Italian. Not
to be confused with Bambino (Italian for ‘child’), our name
Bobino was actually inspired by the sewing Bobbin. That’s
because our Cord Wrap design works something like how
a Bobbin works.
In 2012 when we introduced the Slim Pen (Red Dot Design
Winner), we decided to change the name of the company
and brand to Bobino.
Our retail partners have helped us sell more than 20 million
Cord Wraps worldwide in the past 10 years and there are no
sign of slowing.
