Directions to Sussex County FA

Sussex County FA is committed to encouraging and promoting alternative travel options.

PLEASE:Use public transport whenever possible. Timetables and routes can be found at www.westsussex.gov.uk/publictransport Rail Services (National Rail Enquiries: 08457-484950)

Lancing is served by frequent rail services from London, Brighton, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Chichester, Portsmouth and Southampton, and most surrounding towns. Leave Lancing Railway Station and walk north (Please note: If you are on the same side of the rail line as the railway station building and ASDA, you need to cross over the railway bridge and walk in the opposite direction). Walk up North Road, taking the third turning on the left into Culver Road.

Coach and Bus Services (www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk)

Lancing is served by the following bus/coach routes – 7, 7A, 9, 16, 19A, 25, 26, 106, 700, N2/N700, WG1, X2, X5 and Pulse, with regular services from all surrounding towns and villages, as well as London and Brighton. The closest bus stop is North Road Post Office, just 50 meters from Culver Road (services highlighted in bold). The Sussex County FA HQ is at the end of Culver Road. Cycling

Although there are no local cycle routes, cycling to Culver Road is a simple option, with the A259 coast road being the main artery for cyclists. There is an open-air six-cycle rack located in the car park and bicycles can also be left inside the stadium if required. Driving Directions from West Sussex

From Chichester along the A27 through Worthing until you reach the Manor Roundabout at Lancing Leisure Centre. Turn right (sign-posted South Lancing A2025) at the roundabout into Grinstead Lane. 500 yards on the right is The Harvester restaurant, turn right after the restaurant into Grinstead Avenue, left at the mini roundabout into North Road. Pass the shops until the next mini roundabout and turn right into Culver Road.

Directions from Mid/North and East Sussex

From the Crawley area use the A23 until you reach the A27 where you need to go Westbound (Worthing). From Eastbourne/Hastings take the A27 past Lewes, Brighton, Hove, Portslade & Shoreham Airport until you reach the Manor Roundabout at Lancing Leisure Centre. Turn left (sign-posted South Lancing A2025) at the roundabout into Grinstead Lane. Then follow the directions as above.

IMPORTANT:Whenever possible, if driving, please try to ‘car-share’ (www.westsussexcarshare.com). This will help protect the environment and reduce the pressure on parking at the venue – which is extremely limited.

Parking in Lancing

The stadium and offices are located in a residential area and cul-de-sac, and there is limited parking at the ground. We request that for matches, events and courses the alternate car parks (located just one minutes’ walk away) are used. These are located on North Farm Road and Queensway, as well as street parking along North Road and at Lancing Station/Asda. See map for details.

All car parks are pay-and-display (£0.50 per hour, Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm, Sat 9-12am), and have disabled bays. Parking is strictly forbidden on Culver Road itself and cars may be removed.

(7)

7 Arriving and Leaving

We would request that all drivers and pedestrians respect our residential neighbours when entering and leaving Sussex County FA. For matches, events and courses there will normally be parking attendants to assist.

Disabled

There are parking bays available for Blue Badge holders in all car parks.

The venue is fully accessible for wheelchairs, and disabled toilets are available on-site.
