The SELV models of the Curzon Centrifugal range are designed for use within the bath / shower areas and are fitted with long life 12v AC~ motors. The low voltage supply is from a transformer which is supplied with each SELV model ordered. The SELV models are available with over-run timer or humidistat & timer. Transformers should be located outside the splash zone but all fans are suitable for siting within this area. The Curzon fan can be sited up to 8 metres from the transformer

The Silavent Curzon range of fans are ideal for bathrooms and toilets where longer duct runs are required. Made from high gloss ABS, these fans produce an impressive pressure performance required to extract air along longer ducting runs and are capable of extracting up to 80m3/h. Easy to install, the Curzon fans are built to the highest quality with the motor mounted on rubber bushes for quietness and long life.

This range of fans is designed for wall or ceiling fixing and for use with all Silavent 100mm duct and flatduct. It can also be used in conjunction with an integral fire shutter back plate which is rated to 1 hour (FLA501A). The pull cord model is not suitable for ceiling mounting.

The humidistat versions are now fitted with the new “Intelligent” electronic humidity controls which work as intelligent humidistat. Unlike traditional humidity controls which trigger when humidity reaches a pre-set level, the “Intelligent” board reacts to a significant rate of change in a location’s humidity level - See Mayfair Range for full explanation of how “Intelligent” controls operate.

The in-line versions of the CURZON are designed to provide a powerful centrifugal fan to fit out of sight within the roof area. Giving the same performance as the surface mounted version, this model is ideal for use with the Silavent SPOTVENT shower light products.

The Mayfair Series 70 is designed to be installed in 2 parts—the building in frame first to reduce initial installation costs and on-site damage, followed by a plug-in fan body which allows easy maintenance and replacement. This is a system used effectively over the past 40 years by Silavent and proves to be highly effective on large building projects.

The unit is constructed of high gloss ABS with a motor mounted on rubber bushes to provide high pressure performance combined with an impressive quietness.

The Kitchenaire range of fans are, as the name implies, designed specifically for the kitchen area of the home. The large inlet grille provides a maximum area for extraction and filtration with the overall design of the product aimed to facilitate the removal and cleaning of the integral filter (ANC 303A). The Kitchenaire is a powerful, yet quiet, centrifugal fan made of high gloss ABS built with an exceptionally long life external rotor type motor with sealed for life ball bearings and thermal protection. It offers the ideal alternative to obtrusive cooker hoods.

This range of fans can be wall or ceiling mounted and can be used in conjunction with Silavent range of flatduct.

Please note that models fitted with a pull cord are not suitable for ceiling mounting.
