Welcome to the YouTube App on Fetch TV

The YouTube app lets you use YouTube on your TV, to: • Browse and play YouTube videos

• Sign in to get access to your favorites and your other playlists • Pair a mobile device to do searches using your mobile or tablet

To open YouTube on Fetch TV, press Menu on your Fetch TV remote to bring up the main menu.

How to search YouTube

Search on your TV

Tip: You can also search YouTube from a paired mobile or tablet (see “Pair”, Page 11)

Tip: You can filter the list of search results by All or HD content.

On Fetch TV, open the YouTube app.

Use your Fetch TV remote to type in a search term.

Select Search.

And then select a video from the list of matching videos.

Videos

Press on your Fetch TV remote to browse to a playlist.

Press to see videos in the playlist and to browse.

Then select a video and press to play (see “Play a video”, Page 8). Or press to go back and choose another playlist. Browse videos on YouTube by playlists like Most Popular, YouTube Trends, Health & Beauty, and more.

Channels

Press on your Fetch TV remote to browse to a channel.

When you find the channel you want,

press .

If the channel has playlists, select the playlist you want and press to list the videos.

Select a video and press to play (see “Play a video”, Page 8).

Or press to go back and choose another playlist or channel.

YouTube automatically sorts the most popular and highest quality content into channels so you get to enjoy the best YouTube has to offer.

When playing a video, press to bring up the Player menu.

Use the options in the menu to skip to the next video, pause/play, flag inappropriate content, and more.

To view your Playlists, select Account, then Playlists.

Sign in to YouTube

On your TV, select Sign In to display an activation code.

On your computer or mobile device, open your web browser and go to the URL

youtube.com/activate

If prompted, sign into your Google account. Then follow the on screen prompts to enter the activation code, and make sure to select Allow Access.

Once signed in, select Account to play your Favorites, Playlists,

and Uploads.

On your TV, select Settings, then Pair to display a pairing code.

You can now search for a video on YouTube through the YouTube website on your mobile device, and play it back on your TV (see “Play a video”, Page 8).

On your mobile device’s browser, go to the URL

youtube.com/pair

Type in the pairing code displayed on your TV. Select Add.

Sign in to your YouTube account to access your Playlists, Favorites, and more.

Pair your mobile

Pair a mobile device to browse for YouTube content directly from your mobile or tablet and then play it on your TV.

Signing out of your YouTube account

You will stay signed in to YouTube on Fetch TV even if you close and reopen the app.

To sign out of YouTube, on your TV, select Account, then Sign out.

Tip: You can also see personalized video recommendations by selecting What to Watch.

Tip: If you have an Android device, you can pair to your Fetch TV Box through the YouTube mobile app, available on the App store.
