When double glazed sealed units are fitted into sliding sash windows the timber left on which to fit the keeper can be very narrow. Frank Allart have redesigned two traditional fasteners with this in mind.

Nowadays these windows are normally fitted with weather seals as standard. It is important that the fasteners are designed to accommodate these seals otherwise the mortice/wedge plate fixing screws can foul the weather seal channel and effect performance.
