Sound underlying technology

Blackboard upgrade has fixed major issues with editing of course

content, Blogs, Wikis and Discussions

Obsolete tools have been removed or replaced

8 weeks of full-time system testing has only identified 51 defects

so far and none of them are showstoppers

We now have a framework for future upgrades:

 System configuration documentation

 Integrated test environments

 Bank of around 400 reusable test cases

 Performance testing strategy

Bulk Delete of unwanted course material

Self-service course administration:

 Grant audit students and guests immediate access to a course

 Copy a course from an existing course

 Reset a course to the standard template

New Teaching Assistant, Tutor and Marker roles to allow

instructors to delegate tasks safely

Grade Centre smart view to enable tutors to easily mark only the
