Agresso Management Console
Agresso Management Console (AMC) is a 32-bit snap-in for Microsoft Management Console (MMC) 3.0. AMC allows managing both 32-bit and 64-bit Agresso server software through a graphical user interface.
Agresso Management PowerShell (AMPS) and AgressoPowerTools are two Windows PowerShell modules for command-line or scripted server management operations. They require at least Windows PowerShell 2.0, but we
recommend installing Windows PowerShell 3.0 for the best experience. Windows PowerShell 2.0 is included
as part of the operating system, starting with Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. Windows PowerShell can be installed as an addition on Window Server 2008. Windows PowerShell 3.0 is available as a part of the
Windows Management Framework 3.0 download. Both Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 include Windows PowerShell 3.0 as a standard component.

* SqlServer 2014 must be run in compatibility level “SQL Server 2012(110)”. This is due to a bug in SqlServer 2014 that in certain cases could cause the Query Optimizer to spend excessive time in analysing a query. As of 23 Feb 2015 this bug is not fixed by Microsoft.
** Oracle 11.2 requires patch level 11.2.0.3 or higher.
*** From AGRM4UPDATE02.To avoid an error in Oracle 12, the parameter cursor_sharing must be set to “EXACT” (this is the default value for the parameter). An Oracle Client dll (oraclsce12.dll) has been moved to other options in the client installation. Previously only the options «Oracle Call Interface (OCI) », «Oracle Data Provider for OLE DB» and «Oracle Data Provider for .NET» were required. To get the dll installed you should now also install the option «Oracle Advanced Security».

UNIT4 Agresso runs on supported operating systems and has no preferred hardware virtualization solution or virtualization certification. In our test labs we use VMWare vSphere 5 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V for running Agresso Business Server and Web Server.
