After the three first editions of this workshop, at Schliffkopf (Germany), Jurata (Poland), and Sintra (Portugal), this 4th edition will be devoted to recent developments in the application of electrochemical techniques to the study and monitoring of organic coatings and their barrier properties.
A half-day meeting of the ISO Working Party on standardisation of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy will also be held during the period of the meeting.

Shuttle service
For the participants arriving by train or by plane, a shuttle service is arranged as follows:
Wednesday 13 April 5.00 pm
Departure from the Lyon La Part Dieu railway station meeting in front of the "Sortie Villette".
6.00 pm
Departure from Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport, meeting at the "Point Information".
Saturday 16 April 2.00 pm
Bus transfer from Le Grand Hôtel de Paris in Villard-de-Lans to Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport (arrival around 4.00 pm) then to Lyon La Part Dieu railway station (arrival around 5.15 pm).

About the location
The site chosen for the meeting is the village of Villard-de-Lans, East of Lyon, in the heart of the Vercors regional natural park.
Villard-de-Lans is a cantonal chief town and historic centre of the Vercors. It has more than 4000 inhabitants and it rises in tiers from 1050 metres up the foothills of the Grande Moucherolle mountain, which soars above the town to 2285 metres.Well located and accessible,Villard has always enjoyed a reputation for pure air.
A hiking tour in the countryside is planned for fruitful exchanges.
Registration fee
Registration fee : 450 €,VAT included, per delegate.
The fee includes attendance to the workshop, a copy of the abstracts, accommodation, breakfast, coffee breaks, lunch and dinner for the three days of the workshop and a hiking tour.
To register, please complete the enclosed registration form and send it, along with your payment, to the administrative secretariat Coach Communication before 1March 2005.
Upon receipt of the registration form and the relevant payment, the administrative secretariat Coach Communication will send each participant a letter of acknowledgement.
Preliminary program
All papers will be written and presented in English (30 min. each).The papers for the conference proceedings will be collected during the workshop and reviewed afterwards to be published in a special issue of Progress in Organic Coatings (Managing editor: Pr. G. Bierwagen)
