OverVu

_{is an enterprise grade, feature-rich}

software application platform, providing end-users

with the ability to identify, locate and track equipment

across the globe, viewing asset location and status by

just using a web browser.

This innovative, future-proofed software

application platform provides built-in support for a

range of identification and data capture technologies,

from bar codes to global positioning system (GPS)

tags. These identification devices are attached to

materials and equipment and applied in accordance

with business process needs. Our focus is on

OverVuTM _{provides a solution to track equipment and}

materials by running queries and reports from any location and any mobile device.

Through a customisable, hierarchical user interface,

OverVu presents each user with key information about the

equipment and its status. You can:

• Create a customised dashboard for specific needs • Query asset location, history and status

• Receive alerts on asset movements • Flexibly define alert conditions

• Create geo-fencing boundaries using an intuitive point and click, stringing technique

• Simply hover over an area or individual asset to expose pertinent information

• Access asset certification documents and contents information

• Create structured reports, including graphical representations of key performance indicators such as asset utilisation

Technical approach

Automatic identification and data capture (auto-ID) technologies are at the heart of Swire Oilfield Services’ approach to achieving supply chain visibility through the track and trace solution, OverVu.

Tools to gather, aggregate and process data from a variety of sources and abstracting the data sources from a workflow are all incorporated within OverVu. This approach provides a migration path from existing processes where data is often captured manually, to a more automated data capture environment with higher fidelity data from supply chain events.

OverVu employs auto-ID hardware components which

are certified to ATEX and IEC-Ex international standards. This product offering is delivered through a software-as-a-service (SaaS) model, employing industry standards throughout, with Microsoft’s BizTalk® _{Server at the edge}

and utilising state-of-the-art hosting and cloud

technologies, all to achieve high availability, scalability, reliability, security and adaptability.
