A post-degree diploma is a recognized credential that can help you get a job, take your career in a new direction, boost your earning potential and upgrade and broaden your skills. Admission to a post-degree diploma program requires a bachelor’s degree. All programs are taken full-time and can usually be completed in as little as one year.

Accounting is a core function of many businesses. Accountants are usually the last employees to be hit by layoffs during a recession. Global demand for accountants is growing, and qualified accountants are uniquely
positioned to guide organizations through the turmoil of the present worldwide economic downturn.
The PDD in Accounting will give you skills you can put toward completing a professional accounting designation. Study income tax, auditing, advanced financial accounting and more.

There is an increasing need for employees skilled in financial planning at banks, credit unions and in the investment, insurance and financial planning industries. The job market requires people with recognized, specialized credentials, particularly in industries where clients rely on a trusted personal advisor. The need for financial planning professionals will continue to grow as defined pension plans disappear and government increases the age for access to government retirement programs. Completing the PDD in Financial Planning qualifies you to challenge the Level 1 Certified Financial Planning exam. Learn financial services marketing, Canadian securities, wealth management and more.

Tourism is one of the largest generators of jobs and economic wealth in the world. In Canada, the tourism industry is set to experience a labour shortage that will see thousands of jobs become available. As the tourism industry grows and the labour shortage increases, more and more tourism professionals will be required to fill jobs in the industry’s various areas.
The PDD in Hospitality Management is the only post-degree diploma of its kind in B.C. The sales profession is a growing field, and spans all industries and organizations. Skilled salespeople are valuable to many businesses and are well positioned for careers around the world. Sales skills are essential if you plan to own your own business. With the PDD in Sales, you’ll get broad exposure to sales and marketing as viewed from technical, creative and management perspectives.
