What devices are required to run the FreeConference Mobile application?

FreeConference Mobile will work on iPhone iOS version 4 or later.

Where can I download the FreeConference Mobile application? The application can be downloaded for free from the App Store on your mobile phone or via the iTunes App Store.

How much will I pay for the conferencing service?

Your normal conferencing rates will apply when using the mobile version of this service.

How do I install the application on my device?

On your iPhone, go to the App Store and locate the app. Tap the Install button. This will add FreeConference Mobile to your Applications. You can also install FreeConference Mobile online through the App Store. Add the app to your iPhone by connecting the iPhone to your computer and opening iTunes, then selecting your device in the source list. The Preferences pane for that device will appear. Click the Applications tab, and select Sync applications. Click All Applications or Selected Applications. If you click Selected Applications, also select FreeConference Mobile. Do I need to have a FreeConference account in order to use the FreeConference Mobile application on my iPhone?

Yes. If you already have an account with FreeConference.com, you can log in using the same login credentials as you would on the site. If you do not currently have an account, you can sign up directly within the app.

What if I have problems downloading the FreeConference Mobile application?

First, make sure you are running iTunes version 8 or later and iPhone version 4.0 or later. If you are still having issues downloading the FreeConference Mobile application, please contact Apple for assistance.

Can I use FreeConference Mobile on my computer? No. This application is configured specifically to run on your iPhone.

Can I launch the FreeConference Mobile application and conduct the conference call on my iPhone at the same time?

Yes. You can dial in to the conference directly from your iPhone.

Can participants use the application as well?

No. Although anyone can dial in to the conference itself, only the host will be able to moderate the call using this application on their iPhone.

How many people can I have on the call, and for how long? Our service can accommodate up to 150 simultaneous callers, for up to six hours per call. There is no limit to the number of conferences you can conduct.

Can international callers join the conference?

Except for toll-free numbers, all of our call-in numbers are accessible from any phone in the world capable of dialing into a US-based long-distance number. International participants would dial in with whatever country codes they would normally use to reach the United States. With our toll-free service, an alternate number is provided for international callers, since the toll-free 1-800 number is accessible from the United States and Canada only.

Can I use conference recording with FreeConference Mobile? Yes. Conference recording is available at no extra charge with your Premium 800 dial-in number. If you'd prefer to use your Standard (non-800) dial-in number, you can sign up for our FreeConference Select Recording service. To activate recording while in a conference, simply press on your mobile phone, and enter your pin number at the prompt. You must activate this feature in order for your call to be recorded; we cannot record conferences "by default".

How can I access the conference recording?

Roughly an hour after all parties have disconnected, you'll be emailed a link to download the recording in MP3 format, along with information for listening to the recording over the phone. Access to the recording is active for exactly thirty days, after which all copies are deleted from our servers.
