Manage snapshots through the
Asigra Cloud Backup includes a comprehensive snapshot capability that allows you to use efficient hardware-based approaches for protecting large data sets. Leveraging the snapshot APIs of NetApp™, you can obtain a point-in-time copy of the storage hardware. For homogeneous NetApp environments, Asigra Cloud Backup allows for rapid data protection by performing a hardware-based copy of the data from the primary NetApp storage to a secondary NetApp device at either the same or a geographically different location.
You can benefit from the complimentary Snapshot Manager interface for scheduling, cataloguing, and managing such snapshots. This functionality helps you integrate snapshots into your overall data protection strategies and provides you with a “single pane of glass” view of all your data protection activities, including snapshots.
Asigra Cloud Backup is storage hardware platform independent. If you or your customers do not have homogeneous storage environments, you can backup the data to a heterogeneous storage device. To restore the data to a previous point-in-time copy, you can restore the backup session and provide customers with access to their entire backup data as of that point in time.

You can now view and update the scheduling, retention, backup set parameters and notification settings for DS-Clients using the web-based DS-NOC interface.
With V12, the DS-NOC also provides greater depth of information related to the archive packages in the Backup Lifecycle Manager (BLM) Archiver providing the DS-NOC user greater visibility and control of the data protected in BLM Archiver.
