Software Licensing
Named User Licensing
The ClearPath MCP Developer Studio software is licensed using the popular “Named User” licensing model.
Named Users are individuals authorized (licensed) to use the ClearPath MCP Developer Studio software for software development and testing activities, regardless of whether the individual is actively using the software at any given time. All users who access the software require a license.
The following types of individuals are exceptions to this policy and do not require Named User licenses:
• System operators and administrators who do not use the software for development and test activities
• End users doing application testing or training activities A “Named-User” License is transferable to another employee on a permanent basis when there are organizational

Standard Licenses
• 25 users or less

• Available in conjunction with a Libra 4300/63300/8300 Software Developer’s Kit (SDK) operating environment licensed for the same or greater MIPs as the server being replaced

Configuration Requirements
Unisys has qualified the ClearPath MCP Developer Studio on the Unisys Forward! Platform. Every Libra 4300, Libra 6300, and Libra 8300 is delivered with an attached Forward! Platform. A Unisys representative can supply you with the currently qualified Forward! Windows Servers (Enterprise Partitionable Platforms – EPPs) which includes different models and configurations.
Please note that the performance achieved will vary based upon the specific hardware server configuration.
