Module A: Junior Inventors of Hardware

Designed by a graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, littleBits aims to make DIY hardware available to everyone. Makey Makey, a blockbuster Kickstarter project, is an inventor’s dream. Learn the basics of hardware programming, logic gates and sensors etc, and how to design your own hardware projects. Start inventing!

Module B: Start from Scratch: Animation and Games

Developed by MIT Media Lab team, Scratch is a programming language and online community for budding programmers. Learn how to write your first program and build interactive stories, games and animations, remix others’ and share your creations with friends.

With an emphasis on fundamental computer science concepts and hands-on development, App- Jamming is First Code Academy’s flagship program for beginner programmers. Create your own mobile apps and games through tutorials, and customize them to be your own!

Module B: Appventures on iOS/iPad

Built as a visual authoring tool and behavior-based logic system, GameSalad enables

gamers to build games from a graphical user interface with effects like gravity, scrolling and spawning. Express your creativity and make a app now!

Module C: Journey in Electronics

Designed by a graduate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab, littleBits aims to make DIY hardware available to everyone. Dive into the world of electronics and hardware programming, and create a series of incredible projects. Challenge yourself!

Module A: Mobile Apps Development

With an emphasis on fundamental computer science concepts and hands-on development, App- Jamming is First Code Academy’s flagship program for beginner programmers. Build a solid foun-dation of concepts and theories through technical challenging app development. Create your own mobile apps and customize them to be your own!

Module B: Programming with Python

Python is a modern program-ming language that is used by major technology companies

including Google, Facebook and Twitter. Both a great technical tool as well as an excellent beginner-friendly language, Python is a great first syntax based language to pick up. Learn how to draw with code, and build your own adventure game!

Module C: Jamming JavaScript

Sometimes described as language of the Internet, Javas-cript is everywhere; from server side, back-end to front end interactions, the language is powerful and ever evolving. Discover the wonders of this language and create a series of web games!

App Entrepreneur Design Thinking Bootcamp

How does technology solve problems in daily lives? We are now accepting applications for our App Entrepreneur workshop. We are looking for passionate, driven students who aspires to become entrepreneurs in the technology world. If you would like to bring your ideas to reality, read on!

In a 2-week, full-day workshop, students not only learn app

development hands-on, but also engage in design thinking process, solve problems for local non- profit organizations. Students then go into a local NGO to discover needs, launch and market it to their target users as the final project.

Our staff is trained by alumni of the Stanford d.school (the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design), where the Design Thinking meth-odology has been taught to pro-fessionals of various industries.
