DON BOSCO FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER 520 Garfield

Details: The Family Support Center offers emergency assistance with food, clothing and rent/utility aid. The Center is a resource for people facing homelessness, child and spousal abuse, job loss and substance addictions. The Center also helps low income seniors bridge their inadequate income through food and clothing banks. Must apply in person with proof of residency, picture ID, Social Security card, and proof of income.

FATHER HIX SOCIAL SERVICES CENTER 309 Benton Blvd.

Details: Program provides emergency financial assistance for utilities, rent, mortgage, prescriptions, durable medical equipment, food, and other needs depending on the funding criteria and availability of funds. Information and referral for other services available. Call for appointment.

Details: This site/location provides recreational, educational, social and cultural services to residents living on the Westside of Kansas City/Jackson County in

Missouri. Provides utility, rent, and food assistance along with job finding assistance, substance abuse counseling, health education, immigration issues and teen parenting programs.
