Founded in 1957, the San Francisco International Film Festival is the longest-running film festival in the Americas. Held each spring for two weeks, the Festival is an extraordinary showcase of cinematic discovery and innovation featuring:

• 250+ screenings and live events

• More than 200 filmmakers and industry guests in attendance from 20+ countries • Admissions include 70,000 engaged film lovers, filmmakers, and media

professionals

The San Francisco Film Society (SFFS) shares the best in global cinema arts with over 100,000 annual participants and viewers who are eager to explore ideas beyond the mainstream multiplex. SFFS educates, entertains and enriches a wide and diverse range of audiences through the following three programs:

Exhibition

San Francisco International Film Festival (SFIFF), year-round preview screenings, and fall micro-festivals such as New Italian Cinema, French Cinema Now, Hong Kong Cinema, Taiwan Film Days, and Cinema by the Bay

Education

K–12 education programs including Filmmakers in the Classroom, Schools at the Festival, Screenings for Schools, and Young Filmmakers Camp (10,000 students and teachers served annually), FilmEd. online media literacy and media making resources, international Artist in Residence program, and college and university student engagement

Film Society Awards Night is one of San Francisco’s most highly anticipated black-tie

events benefiting the SF International Film Festival and the SFFS’ Youth Education,

Filmmaker360, and Exhibition programs. This lively and memorable evening honors

three legends in the world of cinema (actor, director and screenwriter) with awards,

peer tributes, and career highlights.

Film Society Awards Night provides guests the opportunity to converge with celebrities,

film industry moguls and business leaders, national press and A-list celebrities, as well

as San Francisco’s elite in one of the city’s most magnificent venues.

GRAND SPONSOR $100k

Receive ultimate exposure and branding recognition at not only the event but extensive association with each honoree’s award as noted below.
