ABOUT MINIVEYOR

The Miniveyor family of portable conveyor systems represents one of the most powerful and flexible solutions for the rapid deployment of a temporary conveyor system. Only 20cm high and capable of lying on the ground, it can be utilised to excavate below ground, through windows or in other confined spaces.

With an aircraft grade aluminium frame and a stainless steel bed, the Miniveyor is built to last. These are the only units in their class that have reversible belts and composite cores to add strength while saving weight.

The Miniveyor portable conveyor system was created in the early 1990s to offer a light, portable and flexible conveying solution for confined space working such as underpinning and basement construction projects. The easy-to-operate Miniveyor conveyor is currently being successfully used worldwide in a multitude of applications. With offices in four continents, Miniveyor Products serves a global customer base through a worldwide distribution network.

Miniveyor will move up to 20 tonnes per hour, dependent on material. The use of Miniveyor on a project almost always increases productivity, while reducing manual handling, health and safety incidents. Miniveyors can be loaded by hand and by machine such as an excavator or Bobcat.

PORTABLE

Miniveyor can be carried into position and set-up in minutes. A composite core sandwiched between stainless steel plates means they are structurally strong, while light and durable. The units stack and lock for easy transport. The units are quick to install – 30m of conveyor can easily be assembled in only 15 minutes.

VERSATILE

Up a flight of stairs and turn 90 degrees, no problem. Run on a 40 degree slope, into a hopper or 100 metres across across a rooftop. In all these applications Miniveyor™ was the solution to difficult excavation or conveying problems.

RUGGED

Miniveyor are built for a tough and demanding environment and are corrosion free with a stainless steel and aluminium construction. The drive motors are sealed to IP65 standard. The impact resistant control box is waterproof and protected by a thermal overload circuit to guard against damage. They couldn’t be built any tougher!

POWERFUL

Miniveyor uses powerful 370 and 550 watt motors mounted inside the end rollers and specifically designed and manufactured for the application. With a high point load movement of 130kg the Miniveyor™ can move anything that is thrown at it.

MODULAR

Modular construction lends itself to customer designed installation. Miniveyor units can be locked together using a clamp kit and three modules can provide an eight metre unsupported span. For larger tonnage, run the units in tandem with a double wide hopper.

SAFE

Every part of the system has been designed with safety in mind. The control box circuit is 24V AC and has a monitored loop safety system to prevent electrical problems. The drive units are contained within the frame offering NO pinch or nip points and the belt edges are protected under guard.

USING THE SLAVE BOX

This layout shows how the slave boxes work in conjunction with the

control box, in a line of Miniveyors. Miniveyors can be used to move

material over long distances, and we have been asked for installations

of 100 metres and more. With long Miniveyor installations that can

disappear round corners, it may be more convenient and safer if all

the Miniveyors are started from one position and stopped from any

position. A Control Box can start and stop all connected Miniveyors,

and subsequent Slave Boxes can stop all connected Miniveyors.
