Born in Polidrossos Phokidos, 2.12.1963. Married to Spyros Karydis.
Academic Status: Permanent Assistant Professor for Early Modern Greek History.
Academic Degrees
1981-1985: Under graduate studies and Diploma of the School of Philosophy- Department of Byzantine and Neohellenic Studies of the University of Athens. 1985-1987: Courses in Greek Palaeography and Archival Studies organised by the Cultural Foundation of National Bank of Greece, under the supervision of prof. Ag. Tselikas.
1987: Scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).
2000: Doctor’s degree in History at the Democritus University of Thrace.

Relations between Hellenism under Venetian domination and the peoples of Western Europe (15th-18th c.). Cultural issues in Venetian-ruled Greek Lands.
