This document describes the minimum software and hardware requirements for a SPI Client PC.

3. Installation Instructions for JAVA (English)

Step 1

Obtain the Java V8 installer package (http://java.com/en or contact your IT department)

Optional: If downloading yourself, choose the newest version available.

Step 2

Click on Install

After the installation completes, go to control panel and double click on Java.

In the Java control panel, go to the Advanced tab. Open the “Mixed Code” menu and select “Enable – show warning if needed”

Then uncheck the following boxes under „Advanced Security Settings“ Use TLS 1.1 Use TLS 1.2

In the Java control panel, go to the Security tab under „Exception Site List“ via Edit Site List please add the Linkhttps://www.spi-link.com/.

Im Java Control Panel, wählen Sie “Erweitert >Sicherheitsüberprüfung“. Klicken Sie auf „Aktivieren-Warnung anzeigen, falls erfoderlich”.

Danach deaktivieren sie unter „Erweiterte Sicherheitseinstellungen“ TLS 1.1 verwenden TLS 1.2 verwenden
