Nuclear Knowledge Management (NKM)

“The capture of documented and latent nuclear

information and practices which, when reviewed, distilled

and published, form a repository of experience and plant

facts to be utilized by future generations of NPP workers.”

NKM is sometimes considered a third member of the “troika” formed by

IMS, CM and NKM, in the sense that all three have basically similar goals,

utilize the same infrastructure, and deliver complimentary output that,

together realize a synergy toward the objective of 100% understanding of
