- A project concerning the corrective maintenance and the upgrade of the site www.lentillesmoinscheres.com (front- office and back- office). The website, developed in 2005, is available in 10 languages and 4 currencies. - A project concerning the evolutive maintenance of the e- Commerce site www.sensee.com, whose objective is eyeglasses and sunglasses online sale, in addition to its activity of contact lenses online sale. The website has been developed on the basis of Magento.

CLIENT

Ecotravel is a company specializ ing in passenger transport in Orleans, its metropolitan area as well as in the largest French urban areas.

PROJECT

The project aims to develop a real- time intra muros car sharing mobile application on iOS platform. The application brings together drivers and passengers allowing them to share a common route. The application includes a geolocation feature which allows a graphic positioning of the closest drivers on a map, as well as the estimated time of arrival of the concerned vehicle. It may be run on both passenger and driver mode and integrates advance or immediate booking modules for specific routes. The Pentalog development team has also implemented the Back Office allowing to automatically process bookings and has developed the Web Services ensuring the communication with the Back Office (Magento) as well as a payment module via PayBox. We have also developed several web pages used as a marketing showcase and presentation tool for the application.

The development of an e- commerce oriented platform based on Magento allowing a new approach to the online sales of this type of services. In addition to this, the team has also thought of and developed a calculation algorithm for establishing route fares by optimiz ing distances and by taking into account various parameters such as: the traffic conditions and, of course, the distances, as well as the urban constraints.

For processing and monitoring the bookings while on board, Pentalog has developed a native application for Android tablets which is to be used by Ecotravel drivers. A mobile application for smartphones (Android, iOS and Windows Phone) shall be implemented in the near future.
