Selftrade offer a number of services which can be used within any account:
Dividend Reinvestment (DRIP)
Automatically reinvest dividend income from FTSE 350 companies and a selection of other companies, a range of Investment Trusts, ETFs, and ETCs using the Dividend Reinvestment (DRIP) service chargeable at £1.50 (plus stamp duty reserve tax) per purchase.
Regular Investment
Try the Regular Investment Service to purchase selected shares for the reduced commission of just £1.50 (plus stamp duty reserve tax) by investing from as little as £50 per month.
Free Limit and Stop Orders
Gain greater control over your trading. Set the price that you would like to buy or sell particular shares up to 30 days in advance.
Frequent trader
Trade at £6 (plus stamp duty reserve tax) per trade.

My Selftrade
My Selftrade is the Selftrade members and customers area.
Membership is free and allows you to make use of our Virtual Portfolio, Watchlists and Alerts so you can try out strategies, or monitor stock and fund prices.
Select Login at the top right of any page. Enter your account number.
Select your date of birth from the drop down menus.
Enter selected digits from your PIN. Select Submit. You are now logged in.
Key functions
Login
To login to your account, enter your account number, date of birth and three digits from your PIN.
A welcome letter with confirmation of your account number and an Activation Code will be posted to you after your account is opened. You make your own PIN selection when you open your account.
Activation code
You may access your account, fund your account and trade prior to receiving the Activation Code. You will only be able to fund your account up to £12,000 until you enter the Activation Code. Once you enter the Activation Code, you may fund your account to the amount you wish.

Logout
Logout by selecting the red logout button at the top right of any page.

Funding your account
Fund your account by direct debit, debit card for immediate funding or bank transfer to pay in from your nominated bank account.
Remember setting up a direct debit can take up to ten business days to become active. To fund your account quickly, please use your debit card. You may also transfer funds instantly between your Selftrade accounts.

Enter the name of the
investment you wish to trade and select Submit.
Enter the quantity you wish to buy/sell or the total amount you wish to invest/ cash you wish to raise, including all dealing charges.
Select Get quote to obtain a live price.
Your quote will be displayed for 15
seconds. Select Confirm to buy/sell or Cancel. Select the order type
(Please note At Best will not be available if the market is closed).

A ‘do not delete’ option is available for each message to prevent a message from being deleted.
Communication
Message Box
Selftrade will communicate with you about your account via your secure Message Box. Sensitive information will never be disclosed via email.
Annual statements and Consolidated Tax
Vouchers (CTV)
Annual statements and CTVs will be issued as at 5 April and half yearly statements will be issued as at 5 October.
Contract notes
After each trade, a contract note will be sent to your Message Box. Contract notes will contain all the required information in a clear, easy to read style and can be saved to your computer and printed for your records.
Marketing Communications
My Admin
Changing your PIN
For increased security of your Selftrade account, we recommend changing your PIN at least quarterly. No member of the Selftrade team will ever ask you for your entire PIN and we have no access to see this number.
Personal details
You may amend your email address and telephone number online.
To change your address, please use the Change of Personal Data form.
Bank details
You can amend your nominated bank details online. New bank details will be confirmed with your bank. Please note: It will take up to ten working days to set up a new direct debit to a new bank account.
Alerts and Preferences
You may set up an email and/or SMS alert to be informed when a Limit Order has been processed or when there is an important message from Selftrade in your Message Box.
Permissions
Warrants and other complex instruments are derivative products for which special risks apply. Investors are required to provide information regarding their knowledge and experience in these products to enable an assessment on whether the product is appropriate for them to trade.The assessment is available online and as a form.

My Selftrade
My Selftrade provides access to a range of tools that can be saved and monitored before you start investing on the Selftrade platform.
Watchlists
Watchlists are used for keeping an eye over the securities of your choice e.g. latest price, volumes traded, high, low, etc.
It is useful for keeping track of the key
information and data on your own investments or investments you may wish to trade in the future. Watchlist data is updated constantly with a 15 minute delay.
Virtual Portfolios
The Virtual Portfolio allows you to buy and sell securities using virtual cash with no risk to your real capital.
You can set ‘brokerage fees’ to emulate the charges you pay when you trade. Unlike a real account it does not collect dividends, charge stamp or PTM levy, account for corporate actions or offer regular monthly investing.
The Virtual Portfolio is an ideal tool to try out some new trading methods and strategies without risking your money or even competing with friends or family!
Alerts
You may set up alerts which will notify you once a stock or fund has met your desired value.

If you have accounts at another provider that you would like to consolidate with your new Selftrade account, please fill in the transfer form and send to:
