Mobile Videoconference Toolbar
When using the Mobile Desktop Videoconference application, there are several functions that can be performed during a call.
Mobile App Limitations
Limitations of the mobile client that should be noted in comparison to the desktop client. Sharing Data
The mobile app does not provide the mobile user to send any data or content into a videoconference connection. The mobile app can receive data only.
Mobile Connection to MCU session
Connections to the MCU are not possible at this time. The Mobile interface does not allow dialing connections that are not registered with the directory. We expect future revisions to the App to provide this functionality, but at this time it is unavailable. WiFi and 3G/4G Connectivity
WiFi connections, particularly those at a University and even some high-speed home networks, will provide the best possible connection. 3G/4G connections will limit the quality of video that is transmitted and received from your device. It is recommended to use WiFi whenever possible for best results.
