Employer Instructions for Using Navigator

Laurier Career Development Centre Navigator is an interactive online system developed to facilitate interaction between the Career Development Centre and their many clients. As one of our valued employer partners, we invite you to join us in using the Navigator system to streamline your recruiting process. In Navigator you will be able to:

 Create and maintain your employer profile

 Post job opportunities

 Review applications

You may gain access to these services through the Navigator sign in page

(https://navigator.wlu.ca/login.htm). If you are an existing employer, you can login with your email and password. Information regarding how to obtain/create your password can be found in the following pages. If you are new to recruiting with Laurier, you will need to register for an employer account.

Navigator has three main sections: Dashboard, Career and Co-op. This manual will guide you through two sections: Dashboard and Career (including the main Career Centre modules). Information about navigating the Co-op section may be obtained through the Co-op Department.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Career Centre. WILFRID LAURIER UNIVERSITY

Login to Navigator

The login page will allow you to access Navigator according to your client/user status; Student, Alumni, Employer or Career/Co-op Staff. For recruiting, you will access Navigator as an Employer.

If you have recruited with Laurier in the past, it is likely that you have an account. Please log in using your current email address and password. If you do not know your password, please select Forgot Password (below the login fields) to reset your password.

If this is your first time recruiting with Laurier, please register for an employer account (the link is located below the email and password fields). You will be notified by email once your account is active and you will then be able to log in.

Please Note: We require your account be created with your direct company email address (e.g. jsmith@...), not a generic recruiting email address (e.g. HR@...). You may use generic company information on job postings.
