SUMMARIZED KEY FACTS

After two successful runs, the Absolventenmesse Bern is well estab-lished among students and companies. The third Absolventenmesse Bern is taking place on Thursday, March 26, 2015, in the BERNEXPO in Bern. Companies with interests in motivated students of technical colleges and universities have the opportunity from 10 am – 4 pm to present themselves at the exhibition stands as an attractive employer.

The Absolventenmesse Bern is located on the first three levels within the HR marketing and recruiting funnel. The students may inform themselves about the employment region Bern, as well as national and international companies from the rest of Switzerland with their job profiles.

The slogan of the Absolventenmesse Bern is: «the personal fair for your career». This means that the students are being personally inter- viewed before, during and after the fair visit. This way the needs of the students are being evaluated at the booth of the together ag at the fair entrance and a personal program created for each individual fair visitor based on the interview. Beyond that, hostesses will also answer the questions students may have during the fair. This personal program-design leads to focused conversations at the exhibition booths and thus to a more efficient use of the fair for companies and students.

Students and graduates of all fields of study from various colleges and universities mainly from the region of Bern (2014 ≥ University of Bern: 51%, University of Fribourg: 13%, Bern University of Applied Sciences: 10%).

More than 20'000 students have enrolled in the database of together ag to receive regularly career-related information. Moreover, the Absolventenmesse Bern is being advertised across different social media channels (Facebook, XING).

Flyers & Posters

The Absolventenmesse Bern is being advertised for with 2'000 easily visible A2 and A3 posters as well as 30'000 flyers in all relevant buildings of the defined target schools - be it at the main entrances, in the canteens, the computer rooms, the career service centers, the pinboards of professional associations or in the lecture halls.

Attending Lectures

Personal contact is crucial in order to gain students for the Absolven-tenmesse Bern. For this reason together ag is attending more than 30 lectures personally presenting the Absolventenmesse Bern to the students. Questions of the students about the Absolventenmesse Bern or the participating companies can be directly answered on the spot. In doing so, we are increasing the quality of the students participating in the Absolventenmesse Bern.
