ENTRY FEE $80/player, includes singles and doubles. The entry fee will be deducted from the junior national travel subsidies issued to each Provincial Association after the event.

EVENTS Boys and Girls U16 Singles and ¾ play-offs, feed-in consolation and doubles. All events are mandatory.
DRAW SIZES The final draw size is a function of the number of entries received from the Base Provincial Allocations, National Junior Training Program spots, National Training Centre spots, and the Out of Country spots.
ELIGIBILTY By invitation from Provincial Association based on Guaranteed allocations.
Open to Canadian citizens and Permanent residents only.
RULES & REGULATIONS The Tennis Canada Code of Conduct will be enforced. Singles matches will be the best of 3 tiebreak sets. Doubles matches will be no-ad scoring with a 10-point match tie-break in lieu of the 3rd set. Players are required to play singles, feed-in consolation, and doubles.

TRAVEL &
TRANSPORTATION
It is the responsibility of each player to arrange travel to and from the tournament, and daily transportation between the hotel and club.
ACCOMODATION Players are responsible for making all hotel reservations. The suggested hotel near the tennis venue is as follows:

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS All players will be required to adhere to the COVID-19 tournament hosting protocols which will be based on the Provincial Government health restrictions and guidelines. These may include hand sanitization, physical distancing and masks and be subject to potential additional restrictions like a vaccination passport.

Tennis Canada has the discretion to award direct entries via two avenues:
Players enrolled full-time in the NTC or NJTP or players residing and
training full-time outside Canada.
NJTP players who do not meet their Provinces published wild card criteria and are unable to qualify in their Provinces Junior Nationals qualifying process, due to their participation in an official Tennis Canada Training Camp or on an official Tennis Canada tour, may receive a spot.
In addition, players residing & training full-time outside of Canada may be granted an Out of Country spot upon review of their current international performance. Unused NTC or NJTP spots will be returned to Tennis Canada and not re-distributed.

Elements of Risk
Your child will be travelling and competing nationally and/or internationally, which involves associated risks, including but not limited to personal injury (including death), any damage, loss, theft or
destruction of property, travel by motor vehicle and/or aircraft, inclement weather, the potential for contracting COVID-19 or other communicable illnesses, and any other damages or other
circumstances, known or unknown or beyond the control of Tennis Canada (collectively, “damages”).
These damages may result from the nature of the sport and can occur without any fault on either the part of the child, coach, Tennis Canada or any of its respective directors, board members, officers, agents, employees, contractors, affiliates, volunteers or representatives. By signing this document, you are voluntarily assuming on behalf of your child any risks associated with your child’s participation in and travel related to national and/or international events, tournaments and matches, and you understand that you will bear the responsibility of any damage(s) that might occur.
Tennis Canada provides accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage for Minor Athletes.
Tennis Canada also provides any dental, or medical expenses insurance on behalf of Minor Athletes participating in national and/or international tennis events, tournaments or matches.
Waiver of Liability
In consideration of Tennis Canada’s coaching and mentorship, and the participation of your child in national and/or international tennis events, tournaments and matches, which includes all associated travel, you and your child hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims to which you and/or your child may have now or in the future against Tennis Canada or any of its respective directors, board members, officers, agents, employees, contractors, affiliates, volunteers or representatives from all liability for any injury (including death), any damage, loss, theft or destruction of property, and any other damages which may be sustained by you and/or your child, by any person entitled to claim under the Family Law Act, or by any other person, as a result of any act, omission, occurrence or accident which may befall or involve your child while travelling to and/or participating in a national or international event, tournament, and/or match.
Acknowledgement
I have read the above. I understand that in having my child travel and participate in national and/or international tennis events, tournaments and matches, I am assuming the risks associated with doing so.
I further understand and accept that should my child commit a Group 3 Infraction as stated in the Policy for Travelling with Minor Athletes that my child may be sent home immediately at their own expense.
By entering into this agreement, I confirm that I am not relying on any statement made by Tennis Canada or any of its respective directors, board members, officers, agents, employees, contractors, affiliates or representatives, whether oral or in writing, to induce me to allow my child to travel and compete nationally and/or internationally or minimize the risks or dangers connected with or related to my child’s travel and competition nationally and/or internationally.
I agree that this agreement constitutes a legally binding obligation enforceable in accordance with its terms, and that it shall continue to bind me, my child and both of our heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives and personal assigns.
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein and each of the parties hereby submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Province of Ontario in connection with this agreement.
