Specification of Servers
The table “Specification for each rackmount server (14 no) (no. may change, therefore quote for unit)” in the tender is now changed to three separate tables with the following specifications given below.
1. Rack-mount Server Specification (Master Node)
2. Rack-mount Server Specification (CPU Compute Node) 3. Rack-mount Server Specification (GPU Compute Node)
The Item names in the new tables refer to the corresponding item names in the single table in the original tender unless otherwise mentioned. The items in the original table that are changed and new items are shown in bold. The items in the original table that are not changed are also mentioned for clarity.
Specification of infiniband switch, KVM switch and Rack are not mentioned here as they remain same. They are to be added to each table to complete the full specification of a server.
The bidders are requested to quote for unit price of each of the three items – master node, CPU compute node and GPU compute node.

Other Terms and Conditions1. Any service request must be attended to within the next business day. Both the vendor and the OEM must have sales and support service centers in India for the last 10 years and have support Location in Kolkata. The bidder should provide details of support service centre of both the bidder and the OEM with a write up on service and maintenance capability, breakdown and replacement capability, and the escalation support matrix suggested for the Institute.
2. The warranty provided by the bidder should have a back to back arrangement with the OEM. The declaration should be the part of a Letter of Authorization and signed by competent authority at the OEM.
The specifications for “GPU card (1 no)” and “NAS box (1 no)” in the original
tender is removed in this corrigendum
