Network Storage (NAS)
NETRACKservers provides access to RAID Storage arrays for your backup and storage use. These backup servers are connected via a private network using a second network card in your server, so the data transfer is not counted toward your monthly total. The Network Storage servers are not publicly accessible to the Internet, but only through your server.
This backup is not managed, but you can use FTP, SCP, SFTP, RSYNC, or SMB to transfer your files to the network drive. You can add storage in blocks of 100 GB for should your archiving and backup needs increase.
The Network Storage Server is not recommended for real-time data access or databases.

Load Balanced Server Network
What is a Load Balanced Server Network?
A load balanced server network is a redundant server hosting environment that utilizes traffic load balanc-ing techniques to disperse traffic evenly across an array of web, application, or database servers in order to prevent any one server from being overloaded to the point of failure. If a server happens to fail, traffic is diverted away from that server and distributed amongst the remaing functioning servers.
How does it work?
The load balancer distributes traffic equally among two or more web servers. If a web server experiences a hardware or software problem, it is automatically taken out of the cluster. Future traffic to that server is diverted to the other servers in the cluster until it comes back online and is reintegrated into the cluster.
Who needs a Load Balanced Network?
Anyone who requires their network to gracefully handle spikes and surges in traffic enabling their websites and web applications to be highly available to all users at all times will benefit from a load balanced server network infrastructure.

In this example the firewal filters the distributed traffic from the load balancers to the web and application servers. Private database servers are accessed by the application and web servers via the gigabit private LAN.
