OVERVIEW
Objective
This package is designed to handle the basic processes for capturing leads so that you can start generating a list to market to.
With this package you’ll be ready to start selling your stuff online by:

Placing a Contact Us Form onto your website or Landing Page.•
Automating initial follow-up with contacts who fill out the Contact Us Form.•
Automatically generating a task for you to follow-up and answer contacts’ questions via email.•
Placing a Lead Generation Form onto your website or Landing Page.•
Automating follow-up via email with contacts who fill out the Lead Generation Form.•
Placing a Newsletter Form onto your website or Landing Page.•
Automating follow-up via email with contacts who fill out the Newsletter Form as a long term lead nurturing campaign.This package will equip you with the necessary tools to cover the basics of building and nurturing a list. Take a moment to think about what kinds of emails you want to use to communicate with these contacts both in the immediate short term (e.g., lead generation), and the long term (e.g., newsletter recipients). This will help you determine which settings (which we’ll go over in a moment) make the most sense for you to achieve the goals of your business.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Package Code
1. Login to your ONTRAPORT account.
2. Navigate to your Username in the top right corner of the screen, and select Account from the dropdown menu.
Note: Only the admin of the account can access the Account screen, so if you don’t see the link you’ll want to contact with the admin.
3. Click on the Add A Package link.
4. Insert the code PNvYcekFR9aU6zn in the space provided and click the Add a Package button.
You’ve now added all of the tools to your account. Next let’s set up some of the finer details.
Form Settings
1. First, under Contacts, select Smart Forms.
2. Click on the form titled Build a List: Contact Us.
3. There are a few options you’ll want to modify for your business:

Thank You Page: this is the page your contacts will see after they submit their form. You can change this page under Settings > Opt-In Settings.•
Notification Email: putting an email address in the Notification and Routing section in Settings means that an email notification will be sent each time a contact fills out the form.4. After making any other desired changes to the form including adding or removing fields and editing the design, click Save in the upper right hand corner.
5. Place your Smart Form on your website or Landing Page. Please visit our Support forum or call our Support team if you need further instruction on how to do this:

Editing Content
This step by step guide will show you how to insert content into the specific areas included in this package.
2. Click on the Sequence Build a List: Contact Us Follow-Up to view and edit the Sequence.
3. Click on the first Email Step to see the content of the message. Read through the email and make any adjustments you’d like
4. After adding any desired steps and making any edits, be sure to Save the Sequence
5. Repeat step 2-4 for the following sequences:

Build a List: Lead Generation, which helps you generate lead. This is where a freebie offer would go.•
Build a List: Newsletter, which is where you’ll want to place your actual newsletter emails.•
Build a List: Newsletter Thank You, which is an immediate thank you to contacts that who fill out your Newsletter Sign Up Form.INTERACTION INSTRUCTIONS
Contact Us System
Once a contact fills out the Contact Us Form, an email is sent to the contact immediately from Sequence: Build a List: Contact Us Follow-Up. If the contact had a question, his/her question will appear in the field called Question.
Next, a Task will be sent to you (or the Contact Owner) instructing you to answer the client’s question/ comment. You can see your tasks by clicking Tasks in the side menu bar. An email notification will also be sent to the Task Owner.
Once you’ve answered the question, click on the green check mark for the task to mark it completed.
Lead Generation System
Once a contact fills out the Lead Generation Form, an email is sent to the contact immediately from Sequence: Build a List: Lead Generation.
Three days later, that contact will receive the second email from Sequence: Build a List: Lead Generation.

How do I manually add a contact?a. Click on Contacts.
b. Click the New Contact button at the top of the screen.
c. Type in the contact information in the spaces provided.
d. Click Save in the upper right corner.

How can I manually add a contact to one of the sequences included in this package?a. Click on Contacts.
b. Find the contact you’d like to subscribe to the sequence and click on the contact to open his/her contact record.
c. Under Contact Information, scroll down to the Sequences field.
d. Select the Sequence you’d like to add the contact to from the drop down list and he/she will be added immediately.

Can I fill out the form for someone else who I met in person?Yes. You’ll simply want to fill out the form using his/her information instead of your own. Make sure to use a valid email address to ensure the email gets delivered correctly.
