When you hear the word femininity, what comes to mind?

-Intellect mixed with subtlety, sensitivity, gentleness, caring, independence and sensuality.

What is the most attractive thing about a woman? -Intellect.

In your opinion, how important is outer/physical beauty in a woman?

What traits in a woman’s character would you associate with true femininity? -Intellect mixed with subtlety, sensitivity, gentleness, and caring.

What particular things/attributes about a woman cause you to step up and want to love her, protect her and take care of her for life?

-It's hard to 'put my finger on it', but part of it has to be empathy, sensitivity and a certain bond which is created between two people. I have never "wanted" to love someone, it just happened. For example, with my wife - we were just friends for six months, then it clicked (for me). A month later it clicked (for her) and we were together. Then one day I couldn't imagine my life without her. That was when the hunt for the engagement ring began....

What is one rare thing to find in a woman’s character that you wish to see more of?

What causes you to admire a woman?

-Same as the things which will cause me to admire any person - Intelligence, being able to stand up for herself, being true to herself.

Please tell us a little bit about yourself!

I’m the founder and director of BetterMen in Agoura Hills, CA, USA. After a successful career in

video/film production and marketing/advertising, I returned to school to get a Masters degree in clinical psychology.

I now coach and mentor men individually, lead several men’s groups weekly, and facilitate retreats and seminars in So Cal as well as for churches and temples throughout the U.S. I wrote “Hold On to Your N.U.T.s—the Relationship Manual for Men.”

Sexuality. Softness. Intimacy. Welcoming. Warm. Self-secure. Vulnerable but strong.

What is the most attractive thing about a woman?

All of the qualities mentioned above. And in addition, a lovely voice, warm eyes, sexy walk, gentle touch.

Pretty darn important, at least at the get go. That’s my initial impression of women, usually. Nice, natural breasts, firm behind, lovely face. I cannot tell a lie, these things attract. However, a bad energy, annoying voice, unattractive behaviour, can kill the attraction to looks in a heartbeat!

Her trust, love, and desire to take care of me and our family.

What is one rare thing to find in a woman’s character that you wish to see more of? The ability to apologize in the moment, when appropriate.

Being able to be independent and self-assured while embracing traditional responsibilities of nurturing wife and mother.

I’m a single 25 year old mechanical engineer. Engineering is my employment but lately my passion is working in my church, Rock Harbor in Costa Mesa, CA, to help lead others. I’ve been serving at my church in various leadership roles for 1.5 years dealing mostly with (but not limited to) college students. Right now, I’m learning more and more about the different issues that deal with women, specifically, and am interested in how I can be a better person to the women in my life and how I can help the men in my life help the women in their lives, too.

The request to do the survey made me think about it a lot and so I wanted to give it a shot. Hopefully I can say something that readers will enjoy. Even if it is to just make you laugh at how much of an idiot I am, then I’ve done my job.

To be completely honest, I don’t hear the word femininity very often in my life so I had to really think about and I’m still not sure of the results. I think some words that come to mind are: polite, soft, caring, and loving. I somehow get an image of the black and white sitcom moms and wives, but that seems like an incomplete picture.

Since I’m a Christian, the number one thing is that she truly loves the Lord. That she is sincere in her relationship with Christ and she’s not just going through the motions. After that, a woman with a great personality is super attractive to me.

attract someone are ridiculous. I think that a woman can be beautiful without showing her cleavage or putting on gobs of eye makeup. She doesn’t need to be rail thin (in fact most of the men I know dislike super skinny women).

What traits in a woman’s character would you associate with true femininity? Caring, loving, and nurturing.

Deep down inside of men, is the desire to take care of someone or something. They have a desire to protect and to take care of that person or thing. If this is taken to an extreme, it can turn to co-dependence and I see this idea in myself and in many other men.

I think what makes me want to step up and take care of someone is when they need that role filled in their life. Men want to save the damsel in distress. I want to as well.

Strength. I met a woman recently that when I was talking to her I just really saw her strength shine through. You could tell that she would stick up for herself and for her values. This doesn’t mean she’s combative, it just means that she isn’t going to be walked over.

The women in my life that I admire the most are the strong ones that are very independent. They love the Lord and they love others. They will volunteer their time and money to help others. They are also very intelligent.

An engineer turned writer, who feels inclined towards working with men and women on issues of

relationship and true compatibility. I believe that more than degrees and PhDs in philosophy, what’s more important is that we learn from life itself. Our life is our greatest teacher. Our experiences are our books, and the more we experience the more we learn.

Relationships are a very beautiful aspect of life. You don’t need to be in hundred relationships to learn about what works and what does not. If you are a keen observer one true relationship is enough to learn enough lessons about how to make it work. I am a keen observer of human behavior and I enjoy sharing my views as a “man” with the intention of helping women understand men better.

Men are open books but sometimes women tend to look at them from a “colored” lens and hence get a distorted view. My website helps remove in-congruencies and misinterpretations about male behavior, and works as a guide for women to get to know men as they are.

Tenderness is the immediate word that pops into my mind when I think of femininity. Men are the “rugged” sex while women compliment them with their softness and sublime sweetness.

This merging of opposite energies is what makes a relationship complete. Men are intrigued and attracted by “femininity” because it’s so completely contrary to their inner nature. The male energy stays incomplete without its union with the female energy.

Her sense of aesthetics and her delicate presence, is what I find most attractive in a woman. It’s amazing how women are naturally endowed with a sense of beauty and aesthetics. It can be seen in their makeup, their accessories, their way of dressing, their way of walking and even in their voice. A truly feminine woman has a sense of a “musical” flow about her.

Outer physical beauty in a woman is a huge attraction factor for a man. Men are naturally attracted towards slender bodies (or voluptuous as the case may be), pretty & delicate facial features, smooth curves and wavy hair in women.

But without the presence of a “beautiful mind” the physical beauty becomes hollow. A man will eventually lose his attraction when he cannot relate to a woman on a “heart to heart” basis. Lust, or sexual

fact, most men would have long lasting relationship with a woman who might have an average physical beauty but a “loving” feminine heart, than a woman who has model looks but a “cold” heart. Most men seek companionship and love from their women; physical intimacy or sex is just one aspect of a relationship. Physical beauty in the absence of “inner” beauty, cannot sustain a relationship.

A “giving” nature, a modest & cheerful personality and a playful “innocent” heart makes for a truly

feminine character. A child like playfulness is an essential part of femininity. A woman who is willing to be the “giver” in the relationship, who has a the tender vulnerability to accommodate the “dominance” of her man, and who is willing to be the loving support in a man’s life, should have strong faith in her natural feminine inclinations.

Another important quality would be her tendency to be the “home maker”, because women are naturally endowed with organizing skills and a sense of aesthetics. Women are also naturally more tolerant and understanding, while helps balance out the “impulsive” energies of their man.

Being “submissive” comes across as a very attractive feminine quality that most men find irresistible, because men are naturally prone to be the dominant force.

If a woman comes across as being arrogant, or dominant, as a part of her personality, it completely offsets men, as they are repelled by this vibe. The image that comes up in minds of most men, when they think of their ideal woman, is that of a rabbit, a pigeon, a puppy or a kitten; the most tender animals out there. That’s the kind of tenderness that men seek in their women.

The modern society, with many “feminist” ideals, has corrupted the natural tendencies inherent to women. Some women, nowadays, shy away from being regarded as “tender”, because they perceive it as a negative quality. They want to be “up there” with the men, and so they have subtle feelings of resentment and spite against men.

These women, in their wrong vision, are trying to put down men and tend to harbor a “superior” attitude. Owning to the rise of “feminist” ideals, many men are suppressing their manly character and adopting a more “meek” attitude, the result is here to see – more divorces, more break ups, more confused boys and girls, more unsatisfied women and more unsatisfied men.

A woman who has a deep value system, is modest in her behavior and dress, and who has respect for her true feminine nature, comes across as truly beautiful example of the “fairer” sex.

Love and respect go hand in hand; a man cannot really respect a woman who dresses in a “revealing” manner, who’s arrogant in her behavior, and who has a low threshold of patience and understanding. The most admirable qualities in a woman would indeed be her inner value system and her “delicate”

sensitivities, along with her ethereal bodily beauty.

Many women who climb the ladder of “popularity” tend to lose their feminine attributes owing to their

Physically, I am attracted to a woman with a beautiful legs. But I also have a weakness for beautiful eyes. In the past I have also been attracted to women with beautiful singing voices. Not celebrities.

Physical beauty is important. I admire a woman who can keep herself in shape. Not just starve herself, but exercises, etc.

I need to see a vulnerability. If she is physically vulnerable then that would trigger an immediate reaction to protect.

Also I need to see that in some way I complete her, if I am not able to fill a need and vice versa then the relationship will not work. Some women are so masculine nowadays that men don't feel that they have any place in that particular woman's life. Therefore these women become more frustrated and

controlling so they don't get hurt.

Inner sexuality. The society we live in has focused on the physical beauty and sexuality of women. Inner sexiness is something that I would like to see more of. Things like witty and intelligent ladies who are able to use words to be sexy. When I say words I don't mean talking dirty.
