Dear Parents,

I have enjoyed my first week back form holidays, seeing the students so settled back in the classrooms and everything running so smoothly. I would like to thank Eva for her hard work while I was away. I have heard only positive things about the way Shepparton East PS moved into remote and flexible learning with such short notice. I would also like to thank all the families for your support during these times.

During my time away we travelled through Queensland and Northern Territory, we went to many beautiful places and really enjoyed spending time together as a family. We had a variety of experiences, from floating down beautiful clear waters at Bitter Springs to watching crocodiles jump on the Adelaide River. Other times we spent just sitting and relaxing and enjoying the environment.

2022 Prep Enrolments

We are still taking enrolments for 2022.

If you know of any families who are considering SEPS for 2022, please pass on this information. Important Prep Transition information has been sent out via Compass to our 2022 Prep parents. The first Prep Transition visit will be on Thursday 9th September from 9am-10.30am.

To celebrate our return to school last week, the Prep students

enjoyed a day of fun by competing in a ‘Potato Olympics’.

Students each brought a potato to decorate as an athlete,

giving it a name, deciding which country it was from and

getting it ready to compete in the Olympics! We had our

officiant, Mrs B, begin our opening ceremony where we

introduced all the countries and athletes and then we moved

onto our main events for the day, which were Distance,

Dancing and Diving. After each event we had honour

ceremonies to award gold, silver and bronze medals. Our

potato athletes were exhausted by the end of the day and

celebrated their achievements back in the athlete’s village!

Well done to all Prep students for your amazing efforts on this

day.
