Banana Republic - Clothing Manufacturer & Retailer
Solution Description: Banana Republic is a division of one of the world’s largest specialty retailers—
Gap Inc.—with three of the most recognized and respected brands in the apparel industry: Gap, Banana Republic, and Old Navy. Terrace worked with Microsoft Consulting Services to re-design and re-launch the Banana Republic site. Terrace provided lead technical and functional resources to help implement the new site that included content management, campaign management, up sell features, loyalty programs and customer service. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Content Management Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Benefit Cosmetics - Cosmetic Manufacturer & Retailer
Solution Description: Terrace implemented a full-functioning eCommerce site to allow customers to
purchase cosmetics and skincare products. The site includes eCommerce, campaign management, up-sell features, loyalty programs, click through catalog, and customer service. Integrated on the backend with Axapta ERP system. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Bentley Systems - Software Manufacturer
Solution Description: Bentley Systems, Incorporated, is a global company that provides software for
the world's infrastructure companies. Terrace is assisting Bentley with implementing a content management portal solution that helps standardize the look and feel across divisions, improve performance, streamline the workflow, and enable multi-lingual support and personalization. This site was built on Microsoft Content Management Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
University of California - Continuing Education of the Bar - Professional Education
Solution Description: CEB was founded by the University of California and the State Bar of California
to provide continuing legal education for California lawyers. Terrace assisted CEB to implement a multi-media commerce site offering streaming audio courses, and other hard goods such as books, CDs, and subscriptions. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio & SQL.
Capital Insurance Group - Insurance Carrier
Solution Type: Private Insurance Agent eCommerce Site, Enterprise Application Integration
Solution Description: A private and secure eCommerce site which allows CIG’s commercial agents to
submit new applications for business, produce rate premiums and query the status of previous submissions. Integrates with CIG’s enterprise policy management and billing system. This site was built using Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server.
CPP – Meyers-Briggs Testing Partner Portal
Solution Description: CPP, Inc. is the leading publisher and provider of innovative products and
services for individual and organizational development, supplying reliable training solutions to leading businesses and universities of all sizes. Among CPP’s world-renowned brands are the Myers-Briggs
Type Indicator®, Strong Interest Inventory® and others. CPP, Inc. engaged Terrace Software, Inc. to
provide solution development acceleration and architectural services for their next-generation eCommerce platform on Windows Azure. Terrace designed and developed an advanced encrypting multi-tenant data storage solution intended to be geo-replicated worldwide. In addition, Terrace designed content management, RESTful services based data access, and claims based set of multi-tenant web applications. Azure will provide strategic benefits to CPP by allowing the company to offer a faster and more reliable service, more easily support multiple languages, provide both scale out and scale back of its services to meet fluctuating demand, and business agility to allow CPP to enter geographic regions with a variety of partner offerings.
Solution Description: DCL is a leading provider of supply chain services for companies in the
technology and healthcare industries. Terrace has implemented several multi-branded commerce sites for DCL to enable online ordering services for their clients. Terrace has also implemented a client and vendor extranet portal for DCL. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Content Management Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
DHC Skincare - Cosmetic Manufacturer & Direct Marketer
Solution Description: Multi-Language (English, Chinese, Japanese, Spanish) full function eCommerce
Web site that provides an interactive sales channel for existing and new skincare customers. The website offers branding, product information, eCommerce, merchandising opportunities and customer service. This site was built on nopCommerce, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Empower Software – Storage Commander
Solution Description: Empower Software Technologies, Inc. is an established software ISV in Southern
(e.g. storage rentals). Terrace was engaged by Empower to migrate Empower’s on-premises packaged software from Windows desktops to a Microsoft Azure eCommerce solution. Terrace worked with Empower to create a cloud-based solution for storage rental operators and customers to access accounting and logistical information about 1) the business operation and 2) the customers’ individual storage rental units.
Jelly Belly - Candy Manufacturer
Solution Description: A re-launch of the Jelly Belly eCommerce website where consumers can
purchase candy, gift baskets, and related products. Site has customized catalog pricing by
membership, cross and up-sell features, and customized content areas for members. Implemented content management solution to enable business users to create, manage, and publish website content. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Solution Description: K & L Wines is a leading regional retailer of Wines. Their web site accounts for
a significant portion of their business. K&L hosts wine clubs, wine auctions and wine future purchasing. Additionally, K&L Wines has extensive personalization. This site was built on Microsoft technology (Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server) with supporting search/navigation technology from Endeca and Omniture.
Kingsley Associates – BOMA Data Warehouse
Solution Description: Kingsley Associates Kingsley Associates is a leading provider of research and
consulting services for the commercial real estate industry. Terrace completed development of the Kingsley BOMA survey and reporting system for Kingsley and BOMA. This site was built on Microsoft .NET technology (Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server).
Microchip - High Tech Manufacturer
Solution Description: Microchip is a global semiconductor products company with offices on 6
continents using many different sales channels. Terrace implemented click through analysis and sales analysis reporting for their eCommerce application. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Microsoft Corporation- OneCare
Solution Description: Terrace developed the eCommerce site for Microsoft’s ‘OneCare’ Personal
Computer ‘Health’ Initiative. The eCommerce site manages the complete buying and subscription management process for Microsoft’s antivirus, fire wall, PC Maintenance and backup/restore software and services. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Solution Description: Terrace developed the eCommerce portion of the Windows Genuine
Advantage site for Microsoft Corporation. The site is live worldwide providing offers to encourage software users to upgrade pirated software to genuine Microsoft Windows Software. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Microsoft Corporation- eLearning
Solution Description: Terrace developed the eCommerce portion of the Microsoft Learning site for
Microsoft Corporation. The site is live worldwide providing information and commerce capabilities for all of Microsoft’s eLearning offerings. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, BizTalk Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Orchard Supply Hardware - Garden & Hardware Retailer
Solution Description: Developed an eCommerce site to allow consumers to purchase online for
Orchard Supply Hardware, a Sears Subsidiary. Site is also an information portal containing home and garden project details, store locator, coupons, and other valuable consumer information. Terrace
also implemented a content management solution that enables business user the ability to create, manage, and publish both web content and direct mail campaign content. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Content Management Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Primarq Corporation
Solution Description: PRIMARQ Incorporated is a startup focused on delivering private syndication of residential real estate equity. Terrace worked with PRIMARQ to develop Phase I of the PRIMARQ eCommerce Exchange. This site is now up and running in a private beta. Phase II of this development will begin once PRIMARQ’s next round of financing is approved.
Satellite Dialysis - Kidney Outpatient Treatment Centers
Solution Description: Satellite Dialysis provides dialysis programs to patients with kidney disease through
14 treatment centers in Northern California. Terrace developed a portal that provided clinical reference materials and tools to dialysis professionals. Features include membership/group subscription
Software Development Forum - Professional Membership Group
Solution Description: The Software Development Forum (SDForum) is the leading Silicon Valley
organization connecting software professionals, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, industry experts and major technology companies. Terrace implemented an eCommerce site to manage memberships and register and pay for events. Terrace also implemented reporting functionality to manage members, transactions, and events. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL.
Stanford University - University & Graduate Schools
Solution Description: Terrace developed Stanford’s new ‘Cardinal Mall eCommerce web site. The
site offers the Stanford student body a variety of goods and services as well as integration to Stanford’s other internal portal sites. This site was built on Microsoft Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Trend Micro - Software Manufacturer
Solution Description: Terrace assisted Trend Micro implement the largest branding campaign in the
company's 15-year history. Specifically, Terrace implemented a content management solution to help roll out the new look and feel for their Chinese, Japanese, and English language sites. The solution improved performance, reduced time and effort to market for content updates, and provided a consistent look and feel across of their regional sites. This site was built on Microsoft Content Management Server, Visual Studio.NET and SQL Server.
Uvex Sports - Sporting Equipment Manufacturer
Solution Description: A full-functioning eCommerce site to allow consumers to purchase products online,
and access general information regarding the company. The site is built on Commerce Server, Visual Studio.NET, SQL Server and Great Plains Dynamics.
WinZip Computing – ZipShare File Sharing Site
Solution Description: WinZip Computing draws its core strength as the #1 Zip software provider to deliver
the power of compression and encryption to where it’s needed most – email, mobile, social media and on line. WinZip’s award winning offerings include apps for Windows, Mac iOS and Android, the ZipSend and ZipShare online services and the WinZip System Utilities Suite.
Terrace was engaged by WinZip and Microsoft to migrate the ZipShare file sharing eCommerce platform from Google to Azure keeping the core technology in place. Terrace implemented the ZipShare 2.0 service on Windows Azure running RESTful API, Google Sitebricks and Java. The site is implemented on an Apache Tomcat webserver running as a Windows Azure worker role.
The new ZipShare site is integrated with the latest release of WinZip – version 17. Users can simultaneously share compressed files with Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
