It is mandatory that you receive 16 hours of training every two (2) years in order to renew your Minnesota State Electrical License. It is your responsi-bility to schedule a class before your license has to be renewed. The JATC OFFICE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOUR LICENSE EXPIRES. If you have not been notified by the JATC two weeks prior to your re-quested class start date, it is your responsibility to contact our of-fice.

Classes fill up rapidly and class size is limited. If you delay it might not be possible to get the class of your choice. The JATC office along with the Elec-trical Licensing and Inspection Unit needs time to do the paperwork in-volved with crediting your class. Allow at least 3 weeks after class comple-tion for all the paperwork to be submitted. We are dealing with a large membership—please plan ahead.

WEEKEND NEC UPGRADE CLASS:

If you register for a NEC Upgrade weekend class and do not show or cancel at least 5 days prior, you will not be reimbursed the $20.00 intended for food.

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

Listen to WCCO for information regarding classes being cancelled. Any classes that are cancelled need to be made up at another time in order for you to re-ceive state credit.

RECIPROCITY FOR 110 MEMBERS TAKING CLASSES AT LOCAL 292 AND LOCAL 343 JATC TRAINING CENTERS.

Local #110 members in good standing may take any class through Local #292 and Local #343. Each class you take requires a non-refundable fee. In addition, all participants are responsible for material and for book fees re-quired for the classes and certification fees where they apply and are not included. To register for a class at the #292 training center contact Linda at the Minneapolis JATC (763) 497-0072 or visit their website at

www.mplsjatc.org. To Register for a class with #343, contact Andy Toft at (507) 529-7721.

CHECK CASHING POLICY:

In the past we have held all checks that came in with registration for tui-tion, books and material fees until the class actully started. We now will be cashing all checks when we receive them with your registration.
