MRLA Employee Assistance Grants Now
Open for Applications!
If your employment status in the hospitality industry was directly impacted (loss of job or significantly reduced hours) because of the MDHHS Gathering and
Face Mask Order that took effect on November 18, 2020, you may be eligible for one of the Employee
Assistance Grants from the Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association Educational Foundation.
(Up to $1,650!)
Applications are open until 5:00 PM on Monday, January 25. Please note that these grants are **NOT**
based on a first come, first serve basis. Applications will be accepted during the entire 10-day period, so make
sure you application is filled out completely and correctly.

($6,000 this year!), so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to help cover some of the costs of your education!

HTM Office no later than Friday, February 12by 5pm (school-nominated awards) or Monday, February 15.*
