EDITOR’S NOTES

The articles in this issue are selections from the many presented at the third joint meeting of the Wesleyan Theological Society and the Soci-ety for Pentecostal Studies, convened at Duke University Divinity School in March, 2008. The overall theme was “Pentecostal and Wesleyan Explo-rations of Science and Creation.” This issue’s lead pieces are by Jürgen Moltmann and Randy Maddox. They were keynotes of this significant academic gathering. Among the special recognitions given by the WTS on this occasion (all available on the Society’s web site) was its Lifetime Achievement Award given to Rob L. Staples. It is featured here, as is the WTS presidential address that was delivered by Diane Leclerc.

Whatever information is needed about the Wesleyan Theolog-ical Society is readily available herein. The WTS web site is Wesley.nnu.edu/wts. The past issues of the journal, 1965-2007, are now available on a searchable CD. The email addresses of all current officers of the Society are found in this issue.
