Total App revenue is set to reach $26 billion this year and app store downloads will hit 102 billion. There is no denying that the app economy is booming. It can be a daunting and highly competitive space for developers and businesses to enter and navigate, especially if you walk through it in the dark. Most Trendy &

Addictive Apps

We looked at apps that were published within a certain timeframe and ranked in top 5% of the Global Rankings. Additionally, ordered in terms of a sentiment analysis these apps are also listed according to their addictiveness. Reviews talking about an app being enjoyable, useful, addictive, entertaining, fun and easy-to-use, people writing about how they keep using the app or can’t stop playing the game determine their addictiveness. The categories are compiled using iTunes and Play Store genre definitions.

Note: For Android, we have only used data for apps that have appeared on Play Stores top lists.
