Big savings

On average, by combining two years at CLC with two years at a

four-year college or university, you can save about $18,000 on

tuition and fees at a public university and nearly $50,000 at

a private school.

Strong transfer programs

See the entire list of majors at

www.clcillinois.edu/transfer.

Data from Illinois public universities show that CLC students do

well when they transfer, and other data from the National

Clearinghouse indicates that students go on from CLC to attend

institutions ranging from public universities to Ivy Leagues.

Resources for a smooth transfer

Our website has many transfer planning guides for specific

colleges and universities that you can explore by institution

or major. Additionally, counselors are available to work with

you on planning for a successful transfer. For details,

visit

www.clcillinois.edu/transferinfo.

Transfer highlight: Engineering Pathways to U of I

Through our Engineering Pathways agreement with the University

of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, qualifying CLC students are

guaranteed admission as juniors to the U of I’s College of

Engineering. For details, visit

www.clcillinois.edu/pathways.

Associate in Applied Science degree programs

were created to provide specific skills and

knowledge for immediate employment after

graduation. Credits from many programs,

however, can be applied to transfer programs

at four-year schools.
