Exercise 1 (lessons 41-45)

Translate the following phrases using the present tense. Some help has been provided for certain

questions. Use the constructions in the help provided to answer the remaining questions.

Translate the following sentences into French.

Note in each case when translating “that” the (-là) can be added for extra clarification.

Note that après-midi can be masc or fem, so cette après-midi is also acceptable.

Fill in the blanks with these words. Some words are used several times.
