Introduction:-In the following SRS contains the description of the E-mail System Application .It is further divided into subtopics like purpose, scope, Overview, System interface etc. As per the index all topics is explain in the SRS.

-: Introduce to the E-mail System Application

:-Internet Technology has become a main stream of purchasing & marketing, gathering information, communication, etc.

The Internet has created an easier and faster way to deal with all the above

activities. The Email system application is developed which functions with the help of Internet.

The system is useful to all the general users, companies, big organizations to send the important documents, messages from one place to another, from one user to another. User Location does not matters in this application.

The main Aim of E-mail System Application is to develop a user-friendly system which sends, receives the email messages, confidential documents by attachments from one user to another, place doesn’t matters here in this system. It is very easy to handle operations using the particular system.

This system is developed to give better out look to the user interfaces and to implement the E-mail operations

like:-1. New Account Creation. 2. Login.

3. Send/Receive Mail. 4. Delete Mail.

Current

This system is developed for mainly to send and receive E-mails from the various users.

The existing system contains various services such as send mail, compose mail, delete mail.

The existing system is fast means to send or deliever the email messages The system maintains security by authenticating the authorized user.

The system helps to create a user as a authorized user by providing the facility of registration.

This system is developed in ASP.NET and also with the help of C# programming language & html.

(4)

Drawbacks of current

system:-With the current system the user have to know computer name and the password to access the account.

user cannot send multiple e-mails at a time to the receiving person.

Every time users have to enter his security password to open the account.

For creating the Account user a must fill the information above which given in the sign up form.

Objectives of the proposed

The objective of this system is to define the requirements for E-

mail Systems.

In detail this application will provide description of the System.

The main objective

is to develop a user-friendly system which sends, receives the email messages, documents, images by attachments from one user to another.

It also provides the specific requirements and functionality needed

for this system.

The E-mail System is useful for important business transactions such as business related emails/messages to be sent to another company,

organizations, receiving their emails, storing their emails/messages in to the Inbox of the account.

This system is useful to a person knowing the process of how email system works.

Avoid access to invalid/wrong user or userid. Maintains security of the account.

Useful for common user as it is Easy to operate Supports Graphical user interface.

System

System interface are logically divided into Hardware interface & Software interface .

1Hardware Interface

Testing

Modules:-1.Integrated system testing. 2.user confirmation.

3.Email Transections. 4.Login and logout of user

User

a.

Users have the elementary computer Knowledge & also the knowledge of the use to application.

b. The user should know the details of the work he wants to perform.

.

Assumption &

dependencies:-

a.

The system is having required configuration as well as windows operating system.

b. Full working of Email system application is dependent on the

availability of Internet connection.

Also have the fulfillment of the required software’s.

This system is depending on the Networking & sql server 2005

Study:-There is three aspects of feasibility study that is the portion

of preliminary investigation:

1. Technical

It is a study that checks if the system under consideration can be

operated with available resources. Here it cheaks whether the system can be

operated efficiently with current equipment and existing software technology

and available manpower.

Our System can satisfy this aspect of feasibility, the environment of software

Is ASP.NET under C# . The web applications created with ASP.NET are easier

to create, debug, and deploy because those tasks all be performed within a

single development environment – Visual Studio .NET.

Hardware platform of the system is as follows:

Atleast windows 98 Operating System

Processor 256 MB,

Pentium IV,

1 GB disk space minimum.

2. Economical

feasibility:-Economic feasibility is the most frequently used Technique for evaluating

effectiveness of the proposed system. It is also commonly known as cost or

benefit analysis.

To send important documents, messages, etc. to another person or

organizations, etc. located at various and far locations, it is possible only by

post or by currier and is a difficult job as lot of money requires to be spend

and is time consuming.

In the existing system all the money requires to send important documents,

messages, etc. by post or courier is saved. It is also a very fast process that the

message is delivered to the receiver with in few minutes so it is time

consuming, also no manpower is required to handle the system as the user can

do the overall work of sending e-mails, receiving e-mails, and events related

with the system efficiently.

(8)

3. Operational

feasibility:-Operational feasibility is related to human organizational and political aspects

such as determination of new skills and appropriate for training procedures.

Operational feasibility asks if the system will work when it is developed and installed.

Our system is very user friendly and easy to operate that any person can

easily operate / use it. If the required information necessary for handling the

system is given to the user.

user would easily be friendly with the system overall our system is

operationally feasible.
