Mobile Ticket - the easiest way to get in line,

contactless

Qmatic Mobile Ticket is a virtual queuing solution that provides visitors, patients, and customers the ability to access your services without having to wait in line inside your premises. The solution can be used in various industries such as the public sector, healthcare, retail and financial institutions.

How does it work? Using Qmatic Mobile Ticket, customers can get in line before arriving, or upon arrival, contactless, and wait anywhere they like, while safely monitoring their progress in real-time. The customers is then notified whenit’s their turn to be served.

As the Mobile Ticket is browser-based, there is no need for apps, which makes it effortless for the customer to use. Everything that is needed to get in line is at their fingertips.

How to get in line with Mobile Ticket

There are different ways to get in line. You can either use the camera on your smartphone to scan the QR code or simply tap the NFC tag using an NFC capable smartphone.

NFC tags can easily be incorporated by simply adding an NFC tag to the poster, which allows Android users to tap the poster to issue a mobile ticket.

Here’s how it works

on your

smartphone and/or tap the NFC tag

Wait anywhere you want and check your progress in

the line until you are notified (if you entered your

phone number,

you’ll receive a SMS)

Mobile Ticket Poster Guidelines

Posters from Qmatic are available to let

customers know how to get in line using a smartphone.

Here are two examples of different Mobile Ticket posters that can be used inside and outside your store, healthcare facility, bank, agency and other locations.

The posters will be provided to you once adding Mobile Ticket to your Qmatic solution. You may edit the poster and rebrand it to match your requirements and your specific brand.

Placement - Outside

To avoid confusion and to provide clear guidance, it’s essential that the instructions for Mobile Ticket is visible inside and outside your premises. With our Mobile Ticket guidelines, you can easily demonstrate how it’s done.

Here are different examples on how to

properly setup the poster in different

areas

Poster: The poster should be placed close to the

entrance at a spot that is clearly visible for the customer to raise awareness that Qmatic Mobile Ticket can be used at this location.

Make sure that the size of the instructions are large enough, preferably A3 format and that the poster instructions doesn’t interfere with other information.

Digital signage: You can also choose to display

the QR code together with the instructions on any display or monitor.

Digital signage– a QR code for Mobile Ticket can be incorporated into your digital signage inside and in store windows.

Placement - Inside

The mobile ticket poster should be strategically placed in an area inside your location that is highly visible and easily accessible so that customers can see the instructions as soon as they enter your location. It is important that you position the poster where it is easy for the customer to read and scan the QR code. When placing the poster instructions inside your location, make sure that the size of the instructions are large enough (A4 format) and that the poster does not interfere with other information.

Touch Screen Layout

With Qmatic’s self-service kiosks Intro 8 and Intro 17 you can choose to incorporate a QR code on the main page on the screen .

This provide customers with the option to choose if they would like to obtain a Mobile Ticket or a regular Qmatic Genuine Ticket - depending the option that suits them best. Other alternatives are also available, such as incorporating a QR code onto your Qmatic Genuine Ticket.

NFC Tags

What is an NFC tag?

NFC stand for Near-Field Technology and it allows NFC-compatible devices to seamlessly access and share and transfer information, such as a web address or links by simply passing your device close to the NFC tag. The technology makes it convenient for customers seamlessly issue and obtain a Mobile Ticket, contactless.

The NFC tags, for example, NFC stickers contains an NFC embedded chip inside the sticker and can be made in different sizes and shapes and is easily integrated into the Mobile Ticket poster. The NFC sticker can be incorporated anywhere you like on your premises, for example, on the Mobile Ticket Poster or close to your Qmatic self-service kiosk for easy access.

How to encode NFC tags

The NFC stickers can be ordered online at different vendors and are easy to encoded with a smartphone.
